These work very well, I never had any luck ...
These work very well, I never had any luck with the other two 'name' brands root tabs for some reason absolutely no growth with those but these Thrive ones have made my crypts, swords, lilies and aponogetons grow very well I'd never had HUGE dwarf Lilly leaves before using these. They don't last a long time though I gotta apply new ones every two/three months in the substrate maybe it's because I use sand in my tanks though.

I'm a huge Thrive fan in general and this is my first time trying root tabs. I just put them in a few days ago and will post an update with the results.

Cause white stuff in my tank.
2 days after placing root tabs they caused one of my tanks to have white water (no I did it have a bacterial bloom) and the other 2 tanks and a white cloud sitting over the gravel. Really not liking that.Need to wait to see what it does to my plants.I will not buy again due to the changes in my tank.

NOT SAFE FOR FISH !!!
Im gonna be lucky if my fish and Dwarf Frogs survive. I thought these fertilizer tabs would get my plants growing instead of dying and they may do that but right now im dealing with a Nitrite spike off the charts . If you do use these with livestock in your tank try adding only one per 10 gallon tank. I added 8 tabs spacing them as directed deep in my substrate in my 10 gallon tank . The next day the Nitrates had gone up which was great the plants needed it. But by the following day both the Nitrates and NITRITES went off the chart . I did 2 succesive 50 % water changes and used seachem stability& prime to get the Nitrites down to 0.5 ppm but it still needs to come down to zero. It would also be good to print instructions on the lable larger you will practically need a magnifying glass to read them. Also it clouds the water really bad.I'm will be really pissed off if my pets die :-(Another day went by , I tested and the nitrites were elevated again in the very deadly to fish zone. I did a 100% water change removing all livestock to jars of temperature adjusted ,pH stable water while i did the change. Took out all the plants and siphoned through the gravel. I was hoping to find intack tablets but they had all dissolved. Idk how they can be slow release If they dissolve in 3 days. Now the new tank water parameters are at zero for nitrate, nitrites and Ammonia .the tank will have to recycle hopefully the toxic levels did not kill off all the bacteria too. I will be adding seachem stability everday now for at least a week.If i could give no stars i would. I will update this with a death toll in a week because we are not "out of the woods yet" on the health status of my 2 dwarf frogs , 1 female Betta, 3 cloud mountain minnows ,5 rams horn snails and one nerite snail.4-17-18 update : contacted the maker through facebook, explained what happen and they promptly refunded my money. Great customer service 😊

Most complete root tab.
Thrive Tabs, like their liquid fertilizer, is by far the most complete root tab available commercially. Content wise it provides all the necessary micro amd macro fertilizers in one tablet whereas the other brands are typically either lean micro or macro ferts...rarely both and never in sufficient quantities. Also, unlike DIY root tabs, Thrive tabs are consistent in dosage and designed specifically for aquarium use.Once again, Thrive covers all the bases and is, once again, the only root tab i will use.

My jungle val did not respond to Floursh tabs but strongly responded with great growth when I added Thrive tabs
These are much much much more effective than Seachem root tabs. I had heard a speaker with the Aquatic Gardner's Association say this and I proved it myself. My jungle val did not respond to Floursh tabs but strongly responded with great growth when I added Thrive tabs.
