Good little knife
Been using it as an edc for about a week, at first I wasn’t too sure about it, as it’s my first real tanto design, I’m new to edc fixed blades, and it was in a low price range. I haven’t had to do anything too crazy with it but it’s done everything I need it to, I prefer to edc this daily at work over my more expensive blades since it’s cheap (won’t feel bad abusing it) and the tanto profile makes it good for scraping, piercing, and light prying. Grip is small but just enough for me, especially if you add a thick lanyard. seems decently sharp, not shaving sharp or anything. The sheath does not have a satisfying click but is functional. I have personally learned that my most used knives are typically the cheap ones, so dont overlook them… chances are it can do anything a regular individual needs.

Look for dimensions if you want it bigger
Good knife smaller than it looked but still good

excellent budget edc
D2 steel holds a great edge for a quite a while, i've used mine numerous times on small vegetables and such since receiving it with no need to sharpen yet as it is still passing the arm hair test after almost three weeks of unmaintained use. The tang is almost the size of the blade itself and completely flush with the handle grips, which don't look like anything special however the texture provides quite a nice grip and the handle itself fits excellently even in my xl glove size hands. Kydex sheath is perfectly snug w/ drainage & lanyard holes and the knife locks right in, fits unexposed in jean pockets but the Q clip attached fulfills most conventional methods of carry no problem. Yet to try anything like whittling/chopping (aside from sharpening a pencil) but thats not my nor the manufacturers intended use anyways, however light work like removing bark and primitive carving would not be a daunting task. Without a doubt the best neck form factor knife at this price range, highly recommend!

Perfect size for concealed carry and a really nice close quarters knife
So, I have a lot of high-end blades of all shapes and sizes, but I've got to say some of these less expensive knives have really come a long way. I like everything about this knife. The Tanto blade is razor sharp and length and design is exactly what I was looking for. The grip, although small, conforms to the hand really well and feels secure. I always make minor adjustments to all the cases for my knives, including adding a leather strap so I can carry horizontal carry. And this case is made well and holds the knife beautifully. This is the perfect last resort, close quarters blade. I have others to fill this role, but I really like this one. Very satisfied

One of the best knives I've ever owned
My initial impression once I got it in my hand was the handle was actually pretty substantial for how small it was. I had to move the clip around to be able to carry it in my right front pocket but I quickly realized that the clip was pretty strong and the sheath itself has excellent retention. So much so that if you're not careful and you try to pull the knife straight up and out the sheath it's going to get pulled almost all the way out of your pocket. But that can be easily remedied if you angle the knife slightly to where edge of the sheath will catch on the edge of your pocket when you pull the knife. And the edge straight out of the box was hair shaving sharp and I'm not kidding when I say that this knife cuts like an absolute dream. It works perfectly food prep, whittling, and whatever else you can really think to use it for. And it's very compact and easily concealable. You can have it in your pocket and put on just about any shirt you want and it'll be covered pretty much no matter what. It's possible that someone might see the clip but most anyone who sees that is just going to think "oh he has a pocket knife" and not give it a second thought. Ultimately I'm very happy with my purchase of this knife and I will absolutely be coming back to buy another one of omesio's knives. Good job omesio keep doing what you're doing.

Simple Design and Functional
Good bang for your buck. Nothing fancy but very functional. Can be carried on your person very easily. Sharpens easily but needs to be sharpened often. Sits well in your hand. Would recommend.

will work
its stronger than regular steel you would find in a regular knife. way better than any folding knife you'd get at the gas station. but i dont believe its as strong as true d2. retention wasn't the best and i had to modify the sheath.

Like all my other Omesio knives I absolutely love it. The amount of knive you get for the small cost when buying an Omesio is absolutely ridiculous. The quality steel is you get in this nife is awesome, atleast for the purposes i use them for. Now have 4 Omesio and they all fill all the boxes for my needs. When carving i hardwood its keeps an edge, when i use for outdoors I abuse it and it still keeps an edge. But what I really like i how much steel you get in thickness, my outdoors is 5mm thick and its just a beast. My really slip flipknife is 2.8mm if I remeber correctly but is just so super slim at the same time. But with the steel skins on the flipknife it really feels like it can take a beating while beeing super slim at the same time. I have been working professionally with knifes and tools with razorsharp edges as primary tools for the past 25years. And have bought knifes all over the spectrum, from super cheap to insanley expensive and never really ever got the genuine feeling that you get so much tool for the prize. Its either one or the other. But with Omesio you just scratch your head and wonder how in hell can they make such a quality product for the pricing they have. And still it doesn't feel stamped, mass produced and sharp edges. They have really thought about the small things. Like there is no sharp untouched part of the blade in either of the 4 knifes I got. I mean, don't take my word for it. Buy one for yourself and try it. They are sweet. And of corse there are hundreds probably knife manufacturers that make nicer knifes than Omesio, but not for this price. Normally a knife with this attention to details cost 2-4 times more than all knifes I tried from Omesio. This is my new favorite knife brand.
