This product really surprised me, it is not the typical cheap lamp with a cheap clamp.The arm is very sturdy and it holds the position and weight of the lamp perfectly, so it actually is super versatile, and it will stay in position.The clamp is really big and strong, so it is not gonna fall or wobble.The light is great, it has a diffuser, so it is more uniform light than if it was a clear lens, and I would say that the aperture of the ligh is something like 120 degrees, so it is not a spotlight, the color temperature and bright control make it a very good lamp for lots of tasks and times of day.I use it to iluminate my keyboard, and draw, and it is perfect for this, I usually dont use it in the max brightness, no need, it is a very good quality lamp for the price

This has gone with my Uni student daughter who loves it. The softer light is great for laptop time and the brighter settings allow for clear reading and general illumination. Surprisingly flexible whilst retaining its integrity and shape when set. Well worth the price as it works very well from its USB and the adapter supplied means it works just as well on mains.

Clips perfectly onto my book shelf, flexible enough to curve around the chair back and sturdy enough to survive me knocking it several times before getting used to it. Light is versatile and perfect for tired eyes at the end of the day when a softer tone might be needed. Perfect to read by. Well worth the money.

Tiny but mighty. Love that you can set the brightness and the hue of the light. Very sturdy and strong clip. Also as it's USB plug it can be used anywhere or even while travelling

I bought this as a bedside lamp and was attracted by the long lead as the nearest socket is hard to get at and involves pulling the bed out to get to it. I have no problem with the brightness or the settings, but there is one enormous problem - when you turn the light off a very bright blue light stays lit on the switch making it impossible to get to sleep.

I think this is one of the most versatile and compact desk lights i have ever purchased, i have a very small desk and it just clips on the side of my desk barely taking up any space, this is a lot better than those chunky stand desk lamps in my opinion, love it!

I ordered this light to use for some plants, which means it needs to be able to work on an automated timer. Sadly that is not possible, while the light (obviously) can be switched off by the timer, it will not turn back on unless the button on the little control unit is pressed. And while it has a very nice range of settings from low, warm light to very bright and cold light, it will not remember its last setting when disconnected from the power supply (aka being switched off by the timer).Other positive features are the very sturdy clip, the equally sturdy flexible neck and the overall pleasing design - apart from the fact that a white lamp is delivered with a black power cable.If it wasn't for the timer-issue, I'd have given 5 stars, because then this light would have been perfect for my purpose. Sadly, as it is this light does not function at all the way I need it to.
