At first, I ordered three similar security cameras but they’re were a different brand, and I couldn’t get the firmware to update. I was frustrated, so I did more research, and decided to give this camera a try based on the reviews and the features described. I’m really glad I did! It was super easy to get this camera working from the moment it arrived—so easy that I decided to buy two more, and now I have three total. The color and black+white video and images, in the daytime and at nighttime, are so crisp and clear. The battery life is also good, with about 10 motion detections consuming between 4-8% energy capacity each day. And though this isn’t terrible energy consumption, I still decided to get solar panels for the cameras for truly hands off surveillance. I’m hooking up the first solar panel tomorrow, and I expect things will continue going well. The app is great, and the features offered are top notch, and everything works as it should. I’m really impressed! If you’re wondering if you should get it, I’d say go ahead and give it a try. It will likely be just what you need, and will save you time, money, and worry.

I got the camera for my parents because they had been wanting one for a while and after alot of researching and looking I found this one with good reviews and a great price. Setting the camera up was very easy, the picture/video quality on it is very clear, you can also talk through it, overall my parents are very happy with it.

Awful cameras. I have been working with these cameras for 6 months trying to get the settings adjusted correctly. I have 4, including 2 x 5mp, pointed directly in front of the house, in our chicken coop, and directly on the chicken coop. We had 9 chickens taken by a fox this morning, right within the range of the 3 cameras, and not a single grab was recorded. The cameras are either constantly going off, half the time there is no apparent movement, or they won't pick up the action right in plain sight of the camera with the sensitivity turned most of the way up. At best you get 10 second bursts of recording that begin well after the action starts and ends well before it stops. I can't tell if we have 1 fox or more because the coverage is so spotty. These cameras are COMPLETELY unreliable and I have not been able to get any customer support that is helpful. The cameras need updated software that addresses serious deficiencies without trying to sell me an AI subscription.

Just received these cameras and the setup was really easy. I purchased 4 and three are up and running. I’m still waiting for the fourth camera to be delivered. I don’t have any experience with any other cameras, but the video quality seems to be really good. Night vision is really clear. Overall so far I have no complaints. Right now I’m still waiting for my SD cards to come. If these work out I will probably buy a couple more to have my whole property under surveillance. Overall I’m very pleased with the quality of these cameras and the app used to customize them. Only gave 4 stars just due to the time that I’ve had them.

This replaced another brand security camera that stopped functioning properly. Been using for a week and so far I has met all my expectations. Image quality is great and the unit was easy to set up and install. Lots of customization is available through the app.....which is great. I am still playing around and learning. But after one week, I am completely satisfied.

Easy set up, Good interface with app, bad battery length. We bought this to point at a fire panel in office building so we could read the display if it triggered. Worked great for the first 9 months. After that we lost battery time down more and more until 13 months after purchasing the thing is entirely dead. Unfortunate that things don't last. Not end of the world to have to replace but certainly didn't expect to need that to happen just after a year of having it.

This is my fourth purchase of a ieGeek product. The 5 megapixel camera introduction is a game changer. The high quality images, excellent App integration and long lasting battery differentiate ieGeek from the competition. I highly recommend you consider their product line. Five Stars !

The image quality is great. The app is abysmal. Difficult to find specific events. Takes forever to load. Often fails. I can't return this one, but I'm on here looking for it's replacement. I have 4 Lorex cams working which are outdated but superior to this one in ability to search, find, and play recordings.
