Mangoal 4K Dash Cam for GMC Sierra 1500 2022-2026 2500/3500 HD 2024-2026

I just had one installed on my 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. I have the Mangoal front and back cameras. Install looked pretty simple but since it's a new truck I had a shop install it so I knew it was done correctly. I like it so far. It looks great, you can't tell it's not the original rear view mirror casing. Just make sure you order the correct one for your vehicle. The back camera is just a basic back window camera. It works fine. I went with this brand because I didn't want wires hanging down in the front. This brand looks good and doesn't take up any extra space. The only down side which wasn't a big deal for me is that you can only access the app to see videos if your in your vehicle with it turned on. The wifi of the dash cam only reaches about 10 ft. So if you want to see videos in the app you have to be inside your vehicle with it on and disconnect from apple/android auto. It's a slight inconvenience but for me it wasn't a big deal. Its not like you have to review videos often. If you download any videos you can see those in the app anytime anywhere since they are downloaded. The device does come with the sd card so you can always view videos on the sd card as well. Other then that it's a great protect. The videos are clear. Also, I ordered mine from Amazon instead of the Mangoal website because of the delivery time. Mangoal was like 7-10 days I think and Amazon I had it in two days.

2022 GMC Sierra - Received fast next day after ordering, seller reached out to make sure I ordered correct item for my vehicle. Very simple to install and multiple options for power connection available at mirror. If you do not tell someone it is there and explain where the camera is and what is different from the factory cover, they will never notice it. Video quality is very good during the day and you can read license plates within reason. Nighttime is good, depending on your particular conditions. Camera is stable and not vibrating like a windshield mount. It is plug and play, nothing you need to do, start the car and go. APP is fine once you get it connected, it's a little finicky and will suddenly connect and you're not totally sure what you did right, but it does work. You can view on the app or pull the SD card and look on a laptop or other device easily. This cost the same as other quality dashcams and looks factory, totally worth the value for money. I would totally buy it again, actually ordering another for our other SUV.

Four reasons this product get 5 stars: 1. Excellent image quality and easy to use app. 2. Easy installation. It took me less than 30 minutes including downloading and linking the app. 3. OEM look. It is almost totally invisible. The only thing that is not totally hidden is the rear view camera, but its really small and unobtrusive. 4. Excellent customer service. The Y connector that comes with the unit did not work with my particular vehicle set up. I emailed customer service and Leo got right back to me. He actually custom made a connector for my set up and overnighted it to me! I was super impressed!

The item itself is good but they are not clear with their directions when it comes to connecting it. It says you can connect 2 harnesses it comes with but you can’t. You can only either connect the harnesses to turn camera on while driving or connect the other harness to have to camera on while you’re parked. I’m not going to keep opening and closing the product to connect different harnesses for different features. Besides, it doesn’t open and close smoothly like your OEM plastic parts. It can easily break by having to open and close all the time. I contacted the seller for better instructions on the installation but they give me worse directions each time. This product is made in China and you can clearly tell it is.

**UPDATE *** Had to remove the cowling to get to the mirror mount, and one of the tabs broke off! Now it won't stay secure. I'm going to junk this one and will buy one with a GPS in it. From another brand.. I looked into many others but I guess I didn't look close enough. Overall this is a good unit. The thing I love most about it is that it mounts and replaces the housing around the mirror which makes it look like OEM. Instructions were good but could've been clearer. It had all necessary cords/adapters but Instructions weren't clear if I needed to use all, or one over the other. I had to contact their support to ask questions and found out it was overseas. But, their support was awesome! They got back quickly and answered my questions. The quality of the front and rear video is outstanding. I am happy with the unit except...... The vehicle speed is not captured by the unit. This would be necessary for certain insurance claims. It also doesn't have the GPS capability by itself, which would show longitude and latitude on the file. That to me is less important than vehicle speed. Overall, it it a good quality video recorder. Unfortunately, The return window has closed, so I lost money on this. I am going to start looking for another one that has what I need. This unit had so much potential.

On the easy end of installs for a built in dashcam IMO. I like the parked camera feature (if you have constant 12v power). The way it looks installed, many people don't even notice it's there tucked behind the rearview mirror.

Seamless integration options. Dealership didn’t even see the camera because it blended in so well with factory housing. Video it captures looks great! Installation was easier than what I expected too.

I really wanted to like the Mangoal 4K Front and Rear Dash Cam Model C because the hardware itself is impressive. Installation on my 2025 GMC Sierra took only about 10 minutes, and everything fit and looked great. Unfortunately, the software experience has been extremely disappointing. From day one, I was unable to connect the dash cam to the SkyCamm app. Every time I selected "Connect to WiFi," the app skipped the connection process and redirected me back to my apps instead of allowing me to connect to the camera. I spent hours troubleshooting on my own by disabling cellular data, CarPlay, my truck's WiFi, and even moving to a different location to eliminate interference from my home network. Nothing worked. I then contacted Mangoal support and exchanged several emails with their support team, providing detailed descriptions of the issue, following every troubleshooting step they suggested, and even sending a video demonstrating the problem. Despite my efforts and their repeated troubleshooting attempts, the software issue was never resolved. It's frustrating because the hardware appears to be well designed, but without a functioning app connection, many of the camera's features are unusable. I genuinely wanted to keep this product, but after exhausting every reasonable troubleshooting step and working extensively with customer support, I was left with no practical solution. Based on my experience, The hardware deserves praise, but reliable software and effective technical support are just as important. I hope Mangoal addresses these app connectivity issues in future updates because this product has the potential to be excellent.

This camera is amazing and looks like it came from the factory! The front and rear video is clear and no motion blur or detail loss. Install was easy after I watched the video here on YT, but tucking away the extra cable above the headliner above the rear window was a little special. I am so glad that they now have the adapter to connect to the windshield sensor on my truck, as that was what I needed. I love this camera, and every vehicle should have one!

Installed for Sierra 1500 2023. Fit perfect. It came with OBD cable as well. Everything is good and high quality. The reason I give 4 star is the app. It’s so laggy and crash multiple times. Hard time to stay connected and browse videos. Once app fixed, I will change it to 5 star.

2025 Sierra 1500, direct fit, easy to install

Overall look is great fits as if it came from the factory installed. Connectivity sucks, u can't can't it to your phone if andiod auto or apple carplay is running. Big issue. Another issue only time you can access the feeds on your phone is when the vehicle is on and running. So whats the purpose of the wifi and Bluetooth features is the only time you have access to the feeds is when the vehicle is running. And that a challenge too because itkeep disconnecting from the vehicle
