I really like that it would fit on my keychain. It would have been nice if it was a little bit bigger. But it does the job and you can always have it with you with it being on your keychain

I was in the process of upgrading my every day carry and found this. I was first attracted to this due to the design of a Kwikset key which works with my key case. The design makes it concealable. Which makes this easy to carry on a keychain ( or key case) and not look like a knife. It looks sharp but I can place my finger on the “ blade” and not worry about getting cut. The tip is the only real sharp point but as long as you take care- you shouldn’t get hurt unless you’re stupid doing stupid things. The blade cuts through box tape pretty easily. It won’t cut cardboard. I tried it on a styrofoam tray ( something less thick than cardboard) and I wasn’t able to cut it. If anything, I was able to score it. I feel pretty safe using this.

This little key blade is great if your not opening boxes on the regular and is more of a backup option because of the plastic they use. When it's brand new it opens up regular old shipping boxes / packaging tape great. after opening about 40 boxes however it was completely dulled out and useless. It's great to have in a pinch, but the marketing made it sound like it would replace my box cutter and have a neat little thing on my keys that could do it. However I'll eventually order another to keep on me for when I really need one and go back to my knife for everyday package opening. So it's good, just doesn't replace a real knife with the materials used.

Use it all the time to open boxes.

Very disappointing. Yes, this is plastic, as many other disappointed customers are lamenting. But it's the type of plastic that is the problem. I figured that to do the things this is advertised to do, it would be made of some special plastic composite material, reinforced or engineered to withstand the friction of box opening. If you are buying this to serve as a slightly pointy object to pop through a small bit of tape, maybe it will work for you. If, however, you expect it to do what it's shown doing in the pictures (slicing through packing tape on a small box), sadly it is not up to this task. Even a small amount of friction will instantly dull this little piece of plastic. That's because it is basic, run of the mill, soft thermoplastic. Like the stuff your shampoo bottle is made of. Frankly it's softer than most other bits of plastic I can find around the house. An equally sized Lego piece would would open boxes better. Hey, I just gave myself an idea! This item is soft, not sharp, dulls after a few uses, and is vastly overpriced for what it is. Bummer.

Works well for opening boxes at work when you can't have a knife on you.

Don't know what all the negative review is for it a safety knife it cuts what it intended for it not made to cut skin. People thought this cuts skin? 🤨WTF it even says it not a box cutter or a razer 🤨. It to cut envelope and cut open taped box it not like it cut metal 🤔 that like taking a pool noodle and trying to open a car door.
