Both stylish and technical
A lovely little book with a handle on style as much as technique - concise and to the point - the book itself is an exemplary product of the author's views: plain but not simple.

A good brief read
Certainly a classic, full of wisdom and good advice. (Now I understand the difference between em and en dashes!) But it is all a bit prescriptive in its approach and tone - very much the American way of punctuation for instance without any acknowledgment of conventions in other English speaking parts of the world.

All the things I wish I'd learned in school.

One of the best, clearest and easily understood books on the topic which I have read. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in presenting written text in a professional and beautiful manner. This book is a gem.

I’ve owned Macs since 1985. And I’ve learned more about the built in abilities of these elegant machines in two weeks than the previous 20 years. It’s easy to take something for granted, stop learning beyond the basics, when you’ve had it for awhile. I can recommend this to newbies to the IOS world as well as long timers like myself. Purchased this book because I own other Robin Williams titles. She was recommended by a professor of design at GMU. I highly recommend any of her books for readability and information.

Great book for writing prelims, thesis, papers. I'm in grad school and my advisor kept mentioning all of these arcane rules I've never heard of. Who knew there were three types of dashes? I learned a lot how much presentation matters to your audience. The chapters are super short and most have examples. I was following some of these techniques before reading the book, but this really hammered in why they are important.
