It works fine if you know your footprint and you follow the instructions. It WILL loosen and move side to side IF you take shortcuts and don't use the expanding lugs. Unfortunately, you don't need a brain to leave bad reviews for a perfectly fine product. In fact, it helps, if you don't.

Another great product from Monstrum Tactical. I needed to add a small red dot to an older Glock. This did the job nicely using the dovetail rear sight cut on the slide. This is not one of those flimsy items I keep coming across. This is well made and fits perfectly. (You need a sight pusher to install it. All the hardware and simple tools needed are in the package. (Including mounting screws for the Red Dot itself) I used a CT RAD optic that has an integrated rear sight cut built into it for co-witnessing. Very pleased with the result.

In the past, maybe 5 years back, I was never a fan of Monstrum products. In the past several years I've tried a few more of their products based of 704's YT reviews. Monstrum has come a very long way. This plate is way less expensive than most of the others out there. It was to used on a range only plinker tool. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the quality of the plate and the awesome fit. It worked out perfectly and saved me 50 to 75% compared to the "big name" dove tail mounting plates. It looks great with a really nice finish and it functions very reliably. Use blue loctite and take your time installing it. You'll be really happy with the end result.

It was a just a little lose in the actual slot of my tisas but a little thread locker on the set screw and everything tightened right up and has no signs of becoming lose and my red dot is still zeroed. Overall very pleased with it.

Only gone through about 150 rounds so far so it’s a little early to tell but seems pretty legit nothing to really complain about everything fit correctly it held zero and hasn’t moved since. For reference I put mine on my Gen 5 Glock 19x

Will get the job done but it’s really junk. So the image says use a sight pusher….DO NOT unless you want to damage your slide. This requires some minor gunsmithing you can do with a file. Also you’ll need digital calipers to make this less of a headache ache. The plate is OUT OF SPEC. The wires part of the dovetail on the plate is rough 6.3mm wide. Tolerance for an OEM Glock slide or similar dovetail cut is 6 to 6.1mm. You’ll have to file this down. Then blue any areas that are bare metal. So buyer beware. 1 star bc this thing is out of spec and misleading a sight pusher will work.

I was happy with the attention to detail in packaging and the overall appearance of quality. I had to do a slight bit of filing on the dovetail’s anodizing for it to fit nice and tight on my Glock’s slide with just a little light tapping. I did not mind the extra work to get the fitment just right. It makes for a much more secure mount. The problem was after everything was centered perfectly and the set screw was locktighted in place, when I was mounting the RDS to the mount, one of the screws would not start into the mount’s threads because of either too much anodizing or poor machining. So the whole thing had to be uninstalled and the I had to run a tap through the threads. From the amount of shavings, I have to conclude that it was poor machining. Not a deal breaker for me. Sh”t happens and you can’t inspect every single piece that gets manufactured at the price point these mounts are sold for. But, I did want to let anyone that does not have a minimum of mechanical skills to know that they may or may not encounter difficulties and need a hand with installation. Obviously, I can not comment on durability until I run through a couple of qualification sessions with it, and honestly this was only purchased by me to try and see if I wanted to go through the process of milling a slide or two on my pistols and use a RDS permanently.

Perfect fit, works great with green dot sight. Great value for the money.
