This little bell is classy, sturdy, mounts easily and securely, and has a clear, high-pitched ding when activated. I bought one for my bicycle, and have liked it so much after a year of steady use, that I bought another one when I recently acquired e-bike. I have rung it many, many times, and its pitch, volume, and tone are as good as on day 1. Highly recommended!

I need a small bell because I have space constraints. All of the small bells are a compromise. This one is my favorite because I can make it fit and it's the loudest small bell I have found. I like the look and reach of the KNOG better, but that bell is just too quiet (or not loud enough). This bell is very audible and as load, or at least almost as loud as many full size bells.The only problem with bells in the USA is that pedestrians often don't hear or realize it means a bike is coming. Usually just yelling works better. I may try a horn.

It is a simple design and louder than any of the similar bells that I have tried. Really, my only complaint is that I wish the striker was positioned horizontally instead of vertically. That would allow different mounting options. That said, I did find a way to mount it in a reasonably easy-to-use position without interfering with other accessories on the handlebar. This bell is a winner.

I read about this on another review before purchasing, so when I encountered the same problem I had an idea what to do. The problem was that the knocker stayed in contact with the bell and deadened the sound enough to make it useless. The fix was to push on the bell hard enough to move it away from the knocker so that it would not rest on the bell after striking it. Once that was done the bell worked well. It has a very loud ring now and I am eager to try it out. The bell came with an allen wrench and was easy to install on the handlebar.
