Works great in my trouble light
My trouble light gets banged around a lot as I'd suspect most do, being on the end of a length of electrical cord, such that the bulb didn't light. Had to figure out how to dismantle it, but once apart there was socket for this flourescent bulb so just plugged it in, reassembled case, then it was back to working. Don't know how long these last...they should add catergory "I don't know (yet)" for questions like this, since I just bought it, how should I know how long it will last? Premature question...if you really want to know, ask me again or let me update this review later on when it burns out.

Great deal and perfect brightness like new.
What can I say it's priced right and my light is like new. Because of the cost of replacing the bulb I was going to toss the fixture. Finding this replacement light was an excellent find.

Light Bright White
There's not much to say about these bulbs except they are what they say they are. The light they generate is bright and white with no yellow tones. The light is somewhat uncomfortable at first but I have adjusted to them. If I had it to do again, I would just buy an entirely new kitchen light with sufficient but more soothing light.

The bulb I was replacing was 30 years old, and where I work at Lowes, we don't carry this one. Plugged right in and works fine.

As expected
I was impressed how well packaged the bulb. It arrived intact! The original bulb that came with my desk light lasted over 10 years. My "Longevity" and "Value for Money" ratings here of 5 stars is based on that experience. There are several 13W, 2 pin, U-shaped bulbs out there. If you don't have the part number, be sure you look at the image closely to order the one with the correct base for your lamp.

Didn't last long.
I bought this bulb to replace one that came with a lamp I bought around 20 years ago. I received this replacement bulb on 2023-11-29, and already it has failed. Such a shame.

Light is bright and soft as the natural light. However, it is really hot when it was used for a while. Also, it will flick two or three times before it being lighted. I hope it cloud be used for a long while.
