All looks robust and of good quality. I can't give 5* though until I have used it. I couldn't get one of these for love nor money during the apple season, so I took advantage of the out of season prices and availability - this looks like pretty good value to me.

Item arrived as stated however the iten is to be a present, so I have not unpacked it.

The crusher needs some self assembly but once complete, it operates well. Two things with the fruit press; 1./ It only comes with (1 pair) two wooden blocks which act under the screw head. Why there are only two is beyond me. You will definitely need at least 4 pairs of blocks to compress the fruit, so bear this in mind. 2./ The red handle which operates the red screw head is supplied loose. This is round at one end and tapered at the other other. The round end is slightly too large to locate into any of the three screw head openings. I used the tapered end for my first pressing, but the handle kept slipping out as a large amount of force is needed to turn the head as you compress the fruit. I have adapted this by reducing the round end of the handle with a grinder and flap disc. To me, this is a manufacturing problem which may be beyond the ability of some people to overcome. The press needs to be fixed down to operate it and extract the maximum amount of juice. A lot of rotational pressure is needed when using this and without being fixed it will be difficult to use

It's ok but you need at least 2 people to work it. I used it only twice as it is too hard to use.
