What is the difference between the alligator and the cobra pliers?

The mechanism/action in which the jaws open and close wider, the cobra pliers it is a button that you push it and it is like a quick move style. The Alligator is more of a traditional style half circle/almost channel lock style where you get like 8 positions to choose from. The cobras may be slightly more versatile, but the alligators may be slightly more robust. The Cobra pliers are a great set!
