These are fabulous. Cheap, flexible, easy to fit and they won't obviously just fall off for no reason. A cost effective way of helping to make sure you don't drop your guitar and damage it simply because the strap decides to randomly fall off. You may find there's not enough room to fit them properly, in which case they might pop off. However, for the most part, I have used these on quite a few different guitars and for ease of use, I can't think of anything better. I prefer them to using Schaller type locking strap buttons, as these little discs are much less hassle. I find the straps don't twist as much with the silicon discs as they do with the locking strap buttons. So with these you can spend more time playing and less time untwisting the strap (which I found often involves taking it off and then putting it back on again) before you can actually pick up your guitar and play it. These little discs dispense with all that grief and are therefore highly recommended.

Bought these as they were cheap and needed something for a few guitars. They worked well, kept the strap in place so can’t fault them there. I used them on 2 guitars, a squire mustang and a Gretsch electromagnetic jet. Pros: Cheap Fit well over standard strap buttons on mustang Cons: On the gretsch the strap buttons can be unscrewed by hand and these caused them to loosen so not the best solution there. Overall they were decent especially for the price

A cheap little trick to keep your guitar from embarrassingly falling off your strap. Sure, you can buy more expensive (branded) ones, but these little beauties do as good a job as any Without having to modify your guitar/bass. I often recommend them to other guitarists and keep a few spare in my guitar case.

The last thing a musician ever wants to hear is the bang as his guitar smashes to the floor/stage having managed to slip one end or the other of its strap. apart from the obvious damage, theres the mbarrasement, guitar god to buffoon in one easy slip. accidents can happen to the best prepared....titanic anyone... but you can take precautions, and these do provide peace of mind. simply attach the strap to the buttons as per usual and then stretch one of these over the button on top of the strap end, the inner hole is smaller than the button so wont come off unless stretched off, the washer diameter is larger than the strap end hole and the thickness means the strap end is held snug against the guitar body preventing slippage or accidental unstrapping. to remove strap, stretch washer and pull off, remove strap. these are reusable IF required, and at pennies (ish) each compared to the hundreds to thousands for a guitar, these are a must have to stop you smashing your guitar, unlee that is you model yourself on Pete Townsend.
