The directions are both terrible and inaccurate. They state that the black ended cord is for "all other laser engravers" and the white ended was only for their specific brands. After trying the black cord over and over and getting a jumping rotary, I decided to try the white cord just on a whim before I returned it. It worked. I got it installed, made the adjustments and engraved a pen blank as a test. It did a great job! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Found a roller rotary to be much better than a chuck rotary. *by on Reviewed in the United States December 21, 2025* Great roller rotary for my Longer laser. I initially bought a 3 jaw chuck rotary for engraving what was mainly to be tumblers and water bottles. The three jaw chuck does have a few advantages on some types of work but I found it to be tedious when doing tumblers and water bottles. Instead of trying to align the work piece and keep it centered with the jaws, I simply lay it on the rollers do a preview to ensure it's properly seated in the rollers and start to engrave. I found the jaws to be inefficient and time consuming to properly align especially if a tumbler opening had any slope in the opening, they frequently would wobble off center.
