The Queen gets her birthday wish.
This book is in the usual David Walliams over the top and funny style. After everyone tries to guess what to buy the Queen for her birthday, she gets her wish. It is hard to buy a gift for the Queen as she has almost everything she could ever want. Her castle full of "things", she confesses to actually wanting an "Orang-utan". She gets her wish and soon the Orang-utan is causing havoc and entertaining the Queen.Lots of adventure and funny illustrations including the President of America, the Prime Minister of the UK and of course the lovely members of the Royal family. This includes a very realistic looking Prince Harry and little Prince George. The illustrations are really funny and the antics of the Orang-utan are bound to get many laughs from children. The story is unique, outrageous, over the top and funny and the ending silly and sweet. A portion of each copy sold goes to Comic Relief.

Lots of fun and for a great cause
This book is lots of fun. It's only short but I think that's clear from the description and the price. I've share a few of the previous David Walliams books with my son by reading them aloud and he laughs all the way through. This was no exception.I thought that this book was a younger read than the others which made it perfect for my 5.5 year old son. It's a very funny, unique look at the queen that really appealed to his sense of humour.Add to the fact that profits go to an excellent cause, means I really recommend this adding to your child's bookshelf.

What the Queen really thinks?
I just loved this story and the illustrations are in true Tony Ross style. It is actually a good way into explaining to young children about the Royal Family, the Prime Minister and the American President as we sometimes take it for granted that they recognise these people! I bought the interactive version which is good for children who want to read it alone after sharing it but I found it a bit slow on my tablet. I would have preferred the "real book" version.

Nice for the younger child
Lovely story, one for the younger reader. My daughter is 11 but we still couldn't resist, we have every title thus far in the children's books by David Walliams so we had to have this. It I more of a comic style than a story book for the very little ones it's sweet, a short story but a nice one none the less. It isn't going to have the kids engaged for long but for a quick read then it's very sweet. And it is for charity so money well spent in my humble opinion

Strange story but well presented
I bought this for my daughter as it was on offer and a very good price for such a well presented book. She is only 21 months so I knew reading the other reviews that she is a little young but she loves books. However although well presented I did not think the story was very good. She does however like looking at the pictures so it will be a nice addition to the book shelf.
