Purple lucky cue
Definitely my favorite pool stick I've purchased so far. Great price. Quality weight and feel are great. Grip has never been an issue. Over a great looking cue.

A perfect purple pool cue for novice billiards players!
It's a great "entry level" cue (I say "entry level" because, despite the seemingly high price tag, professional cues can range from hundreds to THOUSANDS of dollars) - the weight balance is good, the finish runs down the whole length of the cue, and the heavy end's tasteful deep purple color turns heads. The first game I played with it, I sunk four balls in a row - as much as I'd like to chalk that up to beginner's luck or just luck in general, I feel that the quality McDermott cue made a big difference. The only downsides to the McDermott Lucky L69 are the lack of wrapping or grip on the rear end (though this doesn't impair my performance with it), the lack of a quick-separation system such as Uni-Loc (the joint is threaded through its full length, making assembling the cue slightly tedious), and the quality of the soft case it shipped with (the zipper broke off the moment I tried to open it). It's an amazing cue for the price - buy it (or another McDermott Lucky cue that suits your aesthetic taste - there's a wide variety of styles, y'all) already!

Great piece
This Cue stick was a gift for my Mrs. It has been an improvement in her game and given her more confidence as well.

Lovely cue
Lovely cue- beautiful color. Screw joint is not the quality I expected from McDermott. Does not thread smoothly. But it feels good in hand and good for beginners. Weight balance is in the right spot on butt end.

Ready to play
Unlike many other low price cues, this has a good tip. Needs to be arrated and scuffed a bit, but overall a good tip. Nicely balanced weight. I realized a marked improvement in my play with this cue as well.

NOT Bad but not great either
Love this cue.. I've been using it for a few months now and I won MVP of my APA league this session.. Only reason this isnt a 5 star review is because when it arrived it had a few Knicks and dings in the butt of the cue.. Other than that I was quite impressed with the ability to just put it together and shoot with after of course I took a tip shaper to it because for some reason the tip was very uneven and for a mcdermott I wouldn't expect such things but hey for the price e still a great buy..
