We purchased these for our barndominium build. At first I was skeptical due to price point.. however these things work amazing. We installed 1 in each bedroom (12k) and a 18k in the main open area. Even with 10ft ceilings, and a outside temperature of 97 degrees, the inside stays 65 with no issues. We keep them on dehumidifier just due to the humidity where we live (east TN) and it stays dry and cool. No change in electric bill and we are comfortable. I can't wait to try the heat feature in the winter! Best part of the house we built is being able to enjoy it comfortably!

I bought this thinking it was a good product. I did not realize how expensive it was to have installed. So it has been sitting in a box since March 1st until the electrician could do his job. I finally get it up. I'm very excited cuz it is hot as hell here, and it works one day, 24 hours My room actually felt cool. It does not work and the company will not back it up. They said there's no warranty even though it's brand new. They won't exchange. They won't help at all. So unless you're ready to throw almost $1,000 off the door, if yours doesn't work, I would not buy because there's no customer support for their product. They do not stand behind. Amazon won't stand behind it either. They told me no warranty as well. So if you really want to risk it, you better make sure you have the 1500 it took to install as well so you'll know in time to return it because you sure won't get a replacement if it doesn't work and you won't get customer service and there's no warranty. Sad and hot as hell.After this review they finally contacted me and they did send me the outside unit since the freon was gone. Right now I'm having to pay more money because the AC person says the leak is in the inside unit. If he can't find it, the freon with the new unit we'll just leak out.I would still get fair warning but at least they responded finally. Too bad it took this review for them to respond. They originally said they would offer a refund but they did not do that. If it doesn't work, I'll be really irritated that they just didn't refund it. Remind you several more $100 gone out. Well it is official, the electrician got it up and it does not cool, no freon at all. Do not buy. Took a loan out for another brand and it was put up no problems. They won't refund as originally offered.

Easy to install great for the money but having small issues with it cooling

So, the hunt was on for a heating and air cond unit that would work in my 4 Season room after I removed an older PTAC unit which crapped the bed. I already had 220v wiring, so that part was easy, now how many btu do you need to cool/heat a 10x20 room with a vaulted ceiling you ask? I went with a 12000 BTU unit which is what I’m reviewing here.It was delivered in two boxes, I fine, the other dropped it looked like. This was in the winter time, so my install wasn’t going to happen until this spring, lo and behold, the dropped box contained a minor dented in the corner heat pump/compressor. Little cosmetic, it’s in an area that people don’t see, I gambled and said I’m sticking with it. (Gamble paid off by the way, it works fine)Followed the install instructions which are clear as mud for hooking up the electric, watched a video on YouTube of a similar install and the mud washed away and I figured it out. So if you are handy, have some tools and can read through instructions and are resourceful if something doesn’t make sense, you can easily install one of these things. I did buy the vacuum pump required to test your connections and make sure the system isn’t leaking or just hire an HVAC guy to come and check it out for you. Anyhow, I’ve fired it up, heat worked perfect and did a great job in that room and the air conditioning works great as well. I’m a techie also, so I did connect the system to my WiFi to control it from my phone and that works also. Anyhow, hope the review helped and enjoy if you pick one up!

Installed easy...everything was there...heats up my tiki bar just fine...

$259to get Freon installed in it.

Purchased in February broke in July in FLORIDA! don't buy it.
