Used this to replace the connector on my OEM power cable after it showed damage from overheating. Very easy replacement and connected up easily to my travel trailers Furion connector.

This product was fairly easy to assemble, using a heat gun to get the outer cover over the plug. I have not used it yet, but attaching it to the male end of the cord, it makes a very tight fit. Probably not waterproof, but certainly water resistant. I would expect it to work pretty well as long as your connection to the boat is snug. The comments that the plug sticks out too far are wrong. It perfectly matches the original cord. I like the idea of using this as a back up cord, as it is not as robust as an original.

The waterproof boot squeezes over tightly but perfectly. The connections are straight forward and labeled. Used in marine environment to replace a West Marine molded cable end that was burned at one side. The boat side always burns after 4 years or so and only in the summer with heavy ac use. The rest of the cable is always in good condition. I expect this product to double the life of the cable. Perfectly pleased!

Pretty easy install. Replaced a melted end on a Furrion RV 30amp cord. Works perfect with Furrion 30 amp RV twist lock screw on plug. Definitely beats buying a whole new cord ($110).

Brought the plug end, purchased a 75 ft 12-3 extension cord cut off the female plug end and installed this one and saved myself about $150.00 from purchasing a already made set from the marina store.

The plug seems very high quality and was easy to assemble. The rain boot however doesn't fit any boat connection or shore power outlet I've ever seen. For $20 the plug seems worth it. The rain boot is 1.25" TOO SHORT to connect.

Great for repairing older cords.
