I am having work done on my bathroom and that includes replacing some of the dry wall in my main closet. I had purchased a metal clothes rack at a store, but it had plastic rollers and joints. The clothes were way too heavy for it and it started bending to one side. It was ready to collapse. So I looked online for something stronger and I found this rack. To open it, you just unfold it and attach the top bar. I was a breeze! I filled it with dresses and even pulled out the extensions on both sides and filled those! It is filled to capacity with heavy dresses and it is solid as a rock! I really love it, and it wasn't super-expensive either!

We just purchased this garment rack. Putting it together took less then 2 minutes. No tools are needed (the wheels are already mounted). The top bar is oval so it has more strength then just a round bar. The top bar is also all one piece from upright to upright so there is no sagging. Some of those two piece top bars sag at the joint. The uprights are slightly bent in before you put on the top bar. This puts tension on the uprights when you put on the top bar, so there is no wobble. The wheels are 2-3/4 in diameter so they roll easily on light carpet, like throw rugs (could be an issue on very blush carpet). All together, well pleased with it.

I looked at a LOT of similar products before being won over by this one for its low cost + high ratings. It is simple to put together, sturdy, and a good size. It is taller than I'd hoped for, almost as tall as me, but that means it can hold long garments.Every year my girlfriends and I hold a "swap party" where everyone brings their unwanted clothes, shoes, household goods, books, etc. We pile it all up and people take what they want. We use a rack for the better items like coats, dresses, and suits. I'm sure when the party is over I'll find a place to use it, and if I don't, it disassembles easily and I can stash it someplace.

SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS! It's JUST as easy to assemble as the video says! They have done the hard part for you! ALL you do is flip up the two legs, put a pipe in each of them and then put the top part in those legs. THAT'S IT! NO tools or assembly required! This rack is easy to assemble, sturdy, and glide easily on its wheels and lock in place. However, I have to keep ordering and returning due to poor packaging. The rack will either be all scratched up or defected during shipping and I receive this busted up box with parts sticking out. My last order was so badly busted up that I didn’t even bother removing from the box that’s barely holding it in.

I don’t typically write reviews but felt the need for this item. I purchased this for a garage sale we are doing this upcoming weekend. I was exhausted from all the work getting ready for this garage sale and was not looking forward to putting together a garment rack. I was pleasantly surprised because it took less than 1 minute to assemble!! It was a dream come true. It is also sturdy and holds a lot of clothes, including heavy coats. I Highly recommend getting this garment rack!!

This was super strong. It would wobble if fully loaded but when empty my son hung from the middle of the bar and it barely moved. Super strong and still in use today. Highly recommended.

I purchased this rack as an interim solution to hang my clothes after my closet system collapsed. (I know - lighten up and purge) I received and assembled the rack this evening. Assembly couldn't be easier. I installed it behind my sliding closet doors and hung all my clothes with lots of room to spare. The extendable rods on each end allows the rack to touch both of my closet walls for maximum efficiency. I'm feeling human again with all my clothes hanging inside my closet and someday I'll be able to install a new closet system - but for now, this is the perfect interim solution. It costs less than $40 and when I'm done with it, it collapses completely flat for storage.
