It does not require routing cables, it self charges, even if we have cloudy days and the videos are excellent quality. Installation took 10 minutes. I even recommend their customer service. A: No. This camera connects directly to your home Wi-Fi and works on its own. It cannot be added to an aosuBase kit.

**Q: What Wi-Fi does it need?**
A: The camera works on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. Most routers broadcast both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, so in most homes no change is needed. If your router is set to 5GHz only, you will need to enable the 2.4GHz band before setup.

**Q: Does the camera record 24/7?**
A: No. The camera uses event-based recording rather than 24/7 continuous recording. It records when activity is detected, which reduces inactive footage and makes important events easier to find and review.

**Q: Can I connect this camera to a third-party NVR or security camera system?**
