I can’t say enough about the ability to quickly spin the handle and disconnect it to go top handle. Love the ability to roll without having to tap the screen.

Works great; super secure. Even if one of the release' is being pushed it holds well. The rubber bits on the pushers/release' came off quickly but I like it without the rubber.. I "lost" the trigger button in a snow storm and eventually found it two weeks later when the snow melted. Still works perfectly after freeze thaws at 5*f says something. Could use a liiiitttle better retention on the trigger button; but for the $$? This is perfect product A+

Update. Replacement spring tension is better. No more wobbling. Pro 1. Easy to use and convenient. 2. Study construction. 3. Bluetooth 4. The tool is hidden inside the handle Con 1. One of the QR holding spring tension is less than the other one, which caused wobble when attached to the cage. Almost dropped my iPhone while I was holding it. I guess not all spring tension is the same. When you receive the item, make sure to check the spring tension. Requested replacement item. 2. The Bluetooth function is great, but I had to press it hard right on the center of the button to take a photo/video. I recommend this item.

Blue tooth feature is so buggy that the camera button feature has been unuseable since I got it, except for exactly one time.

If you have any of the SmallRig iPhone cages and you're going to handhold shoot with your phone, there isn't any reason to not own this as well. The versatility for the money is amazing.

I am a big fan of Smallrig and own a number of their accessories and light modifiers. I have complete confidence in the quality of their products and, just as importantly, their customer service. As it happens, I am also an owner of their Phone Cage for iPhone 15 Pro Max, model 4391, of which this Wireless Control Handle with Bluetooth shutter, model 4402, is a member of its ecosystem. So, ordering the side handle was a no-brainer. And I’m sure glad I did. The QR Side Handle with Wireless Remote is really a small rig in its own right, comprised of three distinct components, the handle, the quick release adaptor, and the removable wireless shutter release. The shutter sits in a standard cold shoe mount, and when slid out, can be used to actuate the phone shutter or start/stop video recording remotely; I found it effortless to connect to the phone and 100% reliable for actuating the shutter. Furthermore, removing the wireless shutter makes available a cold shoe mount on the top of the handle that can be used to mount an accessory of choice. The shutter is powered by a CR2032 button battery. The quick release adaptor is mounted to a rail inside the handle in either of two orientations: parallel to the handle when it is to be used as side handle and perpendicular to the handle when to be used as a top handle. Connecting and disconnecting the handle is done by means of two allen screws, and the necessary wrench is provided and conveniently stored magnetically, slipped up into the bottom of the handle under a small, snap-in rubberized cap. It’s well done and a nice design feature. Once the orientation of the handle is decided upon, it becomes a breeze to reposition it to any one of the four Quick Release slots that are built into the 4391 Cage for the iPnone 15 Pro Max. Remember, this side handle and it’s QR adaptor is meant for members of a specific ecosystem, one that accepts Smallrig’s QR system accessories, so be sure it will match any components you already own or are considering to purchase. The QR Adaptor is of an ingenious design and central to the function and use of the handle. It includes two spring-loaded registration pins on either side of which are the spring-loaded clamps that fit into the Cage’s QR slots. The clamps are held open using their associated side buttons as the registration pins are slid into holes aligned with the QR slot, landing with a click. Then the clamps are released into their slots, with the spring-loaded registration pins now forcing the clamps against the wall of the slot, providing a very secure lock. The connection feels solid as a rock and there is no play whatsoever. Pretty neat. Inside the handle itself, as already mentioned, is a central rail that connects it to the QR adaptor by two allen screws; loosening the allen screws allows the handle to be adjusted to anywhere along this rail, as per the user’s preference, effectively adjusting the handle up or down. The handle is solidly built from anodized aluminum, with rubberized grips on the outside and inside surfaces, for a more comfortable grip. The Smallrig QR Handle with Wireless Bluetooth is a great choice for those looking to add a side or top handle to their Smallrig QR enable phone cage.

Aunque no es ergonómico al ser mas delgado se ajusta muy bien a mamos medianas o pequeñas. El disparador em la cara superior es mucho mejor que el otro maneral con bluetooth, Solo le faltaria estar mejor "sujeto" al maneral ya que al disparar se tiende deslizar.

Instead of buying a whole new system, just upgrade the handles, it works perfectly.

The wireless control quick release side handle matches exactly what the description states. My mistake is I always purchase everything single to ensure the quality is there with any company. I should’ve purchased everything as a kit when presented. All parts order from this company are extremely well-made, packaged and quick with service. without hesitation, I recommend… ty.

Poorly designed. No matter how I set this thing up I can't hold it comfortably. It's too small! The quick release clips get in the way of your fingers. It's as though it was designed for child hands. Can't even imagine how this would be for folks with bigger hands than mine, and my hands are about a medium size when it comes to gloves. On the bright side, the remote is cool.
