Applied Nutrition Critical Whey Protein Powder - Vanilla Ice Cream

I love the ingredients: Whey Concentrate, Whey Isolate, Whey Hydrolysate and Milk Concentrate - these do the heavy lifting and are a higher quality than other proteins here which only contain Whey Concentrate. Also, I prefer this sweetener (Sucralose) rather than Stevia. When dry, this powder is very "airy". Handle with care to avoid mess! Mixing in a shaker is not trivial, I still need to figure out the best technique - because this does create sticky lumps that I need to finish off with a fork before drinking. The shake is very thick too. My usual protein would still be pretty much like water even with 70 grams to 300ml... This one, I had to add another 100ml just to get it really going in the shaker... Probably 70 grams (4 leveled scoops) to 500ml or even 600ml would still produce a satisfying creamy drink! Tastes more milky than my usual shake and the vanilla is more "bright" - typical American style, if you know... Not a deep flavor - but I DO like the flavor very much! Just by running the math for Protein-per-GBP (28 grams per GBP), this is the current king but I'd keep track of the price to make sure it doesn't creep up. I love that the jar is clear so I can use it for storage (see what's inside) when I've finished the protein.

I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now, I got on to the brand after trying their diet whey when it was on offer at Morrisons and was completely fine but I wanted to drop the diet additions - i just don’t see the point. And here I am. I actually like this one, I prefer to Optimum Nutrition and LA Whey, which are the only other ones I’ve tried. I usually mix this with water in a bowl of museli and blueberries and I fond that it mixes very easily with regular stirring and it ends up having a nice, almost creamy texture. The vanilla flavour is nice and just right in terms of strength. I’m happy with this and have no complaints. I look forward to my post-training breakfast now…

Surprisingly good mixability in a world where even "hydrolysed" whey proteins don't mix that well any more. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Taste is very nice and texture is nice too. I mix 2 scoops as an intra alongside 75 grams of glucose with no problem. 👌🏾👌🏾

I do like this product, the flavour is great but from a personal opinion I do prefer using Optimum Nutrition protein powder. The main reason I say this is ON powder isn't as fine so doesn't stick to every surface like this powder does, also with this powder it seems to stick to the bottom of the shaker making it a tiny bit more difficult to clean. Overall still a good product and does what it's suppose to, just not my personal favourite.

I purchased the vanilla ice cream flavour. The powder mixes extremely well with no clumping and tastes great. Definitely worth a try.

Wasn’t keen on the flavour, is ok but got sick of it very quickly. However, included was a single serving of frappcino flavour to try and that was delicious. Ordered a tub straight away

First time user of Applied Nutrition and gotta say, the texture is great. I prefer my whey protein not too sweet, but this is a bit on the sweeter side. Not bad, would definitely order again.

Lecker schmeckendes Protein-Pulver in der Geschmacksausführung Vanilleeis, mit einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Bereits beim Öffnen des versiegelten Deckels, kommt einem ein angenehmer Vanilleeis-Geruch entgegen, der sich beim Geschmack nach dem Mischen, entweder mit Wasser oder mit Milch , fortsetzt. Der Proteingehalt des Pulvers liegt bei 72 Prozent auf 100 g und bereitet bei mir nach der Einnahme keine Probleme. Das Pulver fällt sehr fein aus und lässt sich mit einem Shaker problemlos und klumpenfrei mischen und die Konsistenz ist leicht cremig. Ein besonderer Lob geht über diesen Weg an den Kundenservice von Amazon, weil bei der ersten Bestellung dieses Artikels, die 2kg Dose auf dem Zustellweg abhanden gekommen ist und das Problem mit dem Kundenservice schnell geregelt werden konnte. Fazit: Lecker schmeckendes Protein-Pulver in der Ausführung Vanilleeis mit einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
