CRABTREE 4170 1 Gang 2 Way Single Plate Light Switch 10a White

Good quality switch. The rocker switch operates with minimal pressure. Some manufacturers' switches can be a bit stiff to press. The rear of the switch is very low profile and so will fit a shallow back box. Not the cheapest switch out there, but in my opinion, worth paying a little extra for the quality. Comes with a couple of standard length fixing screws.

Switch is well made and works as expected. One of the installation screws was missing from the sealed bag the switch came in. Quality control must be slipping, didn’t expect that from crabtree. Luckily I had spare screws so it wasn’t a problem. If I hadn’t had spare screws I would have had to use one of the old screws from the old switch. Not good. Come on crabtree get your quality control sorted out.

I usually buy a well known make of switch but got this instead and it seems just as good.

I wanted a replacement 2 way switch for the stairs, this switch came without instructions but it was obvious how to wire the switch it only took a few minutes the lights switch on and off.

Replaced a faulty switch with no problem, have fitted Crabtree switches in the past and never had any problems with them that's why I chose them above others 5*

Screws for connections were good. Some brands the scrrws can be very stiff when first used. Does the job.
