Next Level Racing NLR-R001 GTRacer Racing Simulator Cockpit

I’m a 5’10, 170 lbs male and this fits me great. It’s very adjustable which is good but takes the longest to get set right for you. Once done though it’s extremely solid and surprisingly light to move around. I use the Thrustmaster ts-xw racer servo and this cockpit is a game changer. The seat is beautiful and comfortable and just as adjustable as a regular car seat. Highly recommend.

GTRacer Cockpit is very solid for sim racing. Setting it up was easy and it fits my Fanatec 8 NM system well. The seat is comfortable. I've noticed a bit of flex in the base when fully compressing my load cell pedals, but it's not a deal-breaker. Overall, it offers a great value for a realistic racing experience.

Guys. Do not listen to these other people rating it badly. I have nothing to say badly about this, looks amazing feels amazing, you could literally beat this thing and it will stand it. I’m 6,1 and I feel it’s perfect all the way back. The seat is so comfortable! This honestly should cost more… the quality is unmatched compared to the other more expensive ones, trust me I’ve researched them all. Buy this don’t think twice when deciding. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I watched a lot of video reviews on this rig before buying it and a lot of people complained about rigidity but I am running a full moza setup and report no issues other than the flimsy-ish shifter mount but it's totally not that disappointing. I don't notice any flex when braking or using my moza R9 wheelbase. NLR doesn't offer a ton of add ons for this setup so I'll give you some of my hacks. I used some wire looming to hide all the wires and zip tied them to the tubing - looks great. I used a microphone stand tray as a mouse tray which also works flawlessly. I used velcro strips to attach the power supply for everything under the pedal tray. I also mounted a 10port powered usb hub under the pedal tray and connected all moza usbs and the mouse/keyboard usb. I used a 1" clamp with a tablet holder to hold the keyboard off to the side. Basically anything with a 1" tube clamp can be used on this chassis to add things to it. Get creative! Last thing i want to do is design my own "universal handbrake plate" like what they provide but slightly larger to accommodate an additional shifter so I could run a H pattern, sequential, and E-brake. I'll be adding a buttkicker gamer pro to this down the road as well All in all this a great middle level sim racing rig I wouldn't call if exactly entry level as it seems most robust than some of the other entry/mid cockpits out there. I also enjoy the look/aesthetics of this rig compared to the treadmill looking X rail aluminum frame rigs.. and definitely looks better than a play seat or foldable setup.

The construction is not rigid enough for direct drive steering wheels. The frame bends noticeably and makes lots of squeaky sounds.

Assembly was about an hour. It was pretty easy to put together by myself. The seat adjusts to a wide range so accomodations for height should not be a problem. I am 5'8" and ~200lb, no movement when I am in the cockpit. The force feedback wheel is sturdy in the mount. So far no complaints. Support from NLR is superb, the shipping company roughed it up and the center support bar on the fron was bent on one side, NLR dispatched a new part and it was here in 4 days.

Been using this for a many months now with the Moza r5 wheel base. Good price, solid rig, easy to put together and enhances sim racing entirely. There is a little flex on the bottom when braking hard but is not noticeable at all when you're racing. Only con is not being able to adjust pedal position.

Aufbau eigentlich leicht, aber dauert eben eine weile, bin sehr zufrieden, sehr stabil, sehr bequem. hat sich für den preis gelohnt, moza r5 base passt perfekt mit standart srp pedalen von moza! es passen eigentlich fast alle wheelbase's und pedalen, man hat sehr viel einstellungs möglichkeiten für die verschiedensten wheelbasen und pedalen. Sitz ist nach hinten und nach von verschiebar, pedalen kann man auch etwas höher oder etwas tiefer festschrauben, die wheelbase kann man in verschieden höhen und schräglagen festschrauben, Einzigster mangel der sitz drückt ein wenig an denn schultern, aber man kann die sitzlehne auch verstellen von daher ist es für mich ein kleiner mangel, für mich hat es sich gelohnt.

Hade önskat att man kunde ändra vinkeln på pedalerna. Skylten som sitter på ovansidan limmas och sitter inte särskilt bra. Strunta i att sätta fast den. Hade gärna sett att den var av metall och skruvades fast istället. Men den gör sitt jobb.

Como sabía que dentro de unos años me tengo que cambiar de piso, y lo mas seguro no voy a poder llevarme el cockpit, estaba buscando un cockpit barato, pero estable y no de mala calidad. Pillé ese GTRacer en oferta flash por unos 330 euros (increíble) y con el asiento incluido. El montáje una hora mas o menos (no soy rápido) y el resultado impecable. Lo uso con Moza R5 volante y pedales y estoy super contento. Buena calidad y super estable. Lo pienso usar hasta reventar los próximos años, y luego donarlo supongo. Si eres novato o usuario casual y no quieres pagar un riñon, ese es el cockpit para ti.
