Oh my god. This will be the death of my hair as I will use it quite frequently from now on. First of all, this device is not for all. Definitely there are certain hairs that will work well - thin long hair. I can see if you have short hair, 1 1/4 barrel won’t work at all and even 3/4 barrel might be challenging as doing the backside of your head will be very tricky. Thick hairs will take forever as you are supposed to put small part each time for the best result. The other thing I want to emphasize is that it works way better on dry hair. I did spray heat protectant and if I curl it right away when still wet, my hair got tangled. Wait a bit for it to dry then try. For the special occasions where I want really good curls, I might curl it without heat protectant but that will definitely damage my hair more. Also don’t forget to brush each section to make it smooth before putting it in the barrel. Even if it tangles, It wasn’t too hard for me to get the hair out. I think I lost a couple of hair strands but that happens even with the normal hair iron. The usage was super easy if I kept those I mentioned above in mind. It does take a while as I have quite a lot of long thin hair but I loved you can literally vibe while the machine does all the work. Also this was my first time using it. If you are a skilled normal hair iron user, this will bore you. I finished curling while sitting listening to music. No arm pain from holding the iron figuring out the directions scared of burning yourself! I’m so glad I found the hair iron I can finally use more consistently and will consider gifting it to people with the right hair type!

Item arrived quickly as promised. This is a game changer for me. Use on completely dry hair to create soft, loose curls to finger comb for a great look. Or can make tight, springy curls for another look. After using to style, I touch up with a bit of argan oil for a shine and extra softness. Love this and would recommend. It is fun to use…just a little bit of a learning curve in creating curls, but way worth it.

First, I have fine straight hair that has never held a curl. Never. This actually works for my hair if I use a heat protector and texture spray first. There is even some curl the next day. So that's a 5 for me except for issues right out of the box with the power switch. The "on" will eventually work after pressing and releasing and sometimes holding it in multiple times. The "off" never has worked and I have to unplug it every single time. Bought on prime day and to replace it is $20 higher. Really, really frustrating. Edited 7/20/26 Apparently to turn mine on I have to press and release power and then hold in temp until the display lights. To turn it off press and release power then press and hold in temp until the display goes dark. Why couldn't the instructions have simply said to do this? Had to stumble across this sequence on my own.

Awesome product and Very Easy to Use

Product was defective. Since it was an open box listed as mint condition, I opened the taped top packaging and plugged it in within 15 minutes of delivery. No power. Said to hold the button to power on for a few seconds and I held for over a minute. Nothing. Pushed all the other buttons and tried another outlet just to confirm. Still didn't work. Returned.

I don't know how I ever truly lived before this product?! LOVE IT! So quick to curl my hair now and get every section because it is like having an extra hand. Easy to use, be mindful of temp if you are in US, uses C versus F, and it is safe - no chance of burning yourself and it hasn't eaten my hair (which is something I was fearful of), and it is A LOT less work. You will not regret buying this product!

Once I got the hang of lining up my sections of hair the process was super fast. I love that I won't burn myself or create the heat lines in my hair from the clamp of regular curling irons. My hair is long and fine and this tool makes curling my hair worth it even though my hair doesn't hold curls for more than half of a day.

This is genuinely the best thing I've ever spent my money on. My hair type: 1B/1C straight, coarse, high-density Pros: Great, premium, metallic build; head-empty levels of ease of use; clear cover prevents burns; produces beautiful waves; double voltage; cord at the base of the iron rotates; beeps to tell you when it's done curling a section Cons: A bit expensive (but worth it IMO) I don't usually write reviews but I had to this time because I love this product so much. I have coarse hair that tends to get frizzy but doesn't hold its own wave or curl OR fall straight. I've always been insecure about how my hair looked because of this. Ever since I was a teen, I've always wanted wavy hair - not curly, but loose, natural waves. I've tried almost every heatless curling method, and all of them either looked messy, flat or didn't last. I've also tried the curly girl method, in case that would get me waves, but nada. Once I had the money, I decided I should invest in an actual curling iron. This is the first time I've ever used one and I'm so blown away at how easy it was to use! There was no learning curve for me at all - just remember to take the strand of hair over the * indicated in the clear cover. I pretty much just picked it up, turned on a podcast, and had a blast curling my hair - it only took me 30 minutes! I don't get stressed out about placing it down the counter or near my scalp because the clear cover makes me feel safe. And despite what the other reviews said, I've been able to get thicker sections of hair through the barrel just fine. I'm so, so happy they made this and at the 1 1/4" size! This also arrived 5 days earlier than expected.
