I installed the V-Guard VG 400 stabilizer for my 1.5-ton air conditioner in an area where voltage fluctuation is common, especially at night. After installing it, the AC compressor started operating normally and cooling performance improved. The stabilizer supports a 170Vโ270V input working range, which is suitable for most homes with moderate voltage fluctuation. It uses advanced IC-based circuitry to regulate voltage and provide a stable output for sensitive components like the AC compressor and PCB. Another useful feature is the Intelligent Time Delay System (ITDS), which delays the compressor restart after a power cut. This protects the compressor from damage caused by sudden power restoration. Technical Points - Working voltage range: 170V โ 270V - Capacity: 12A, suitable for AC up to 1.5 Ton - ITDS compressor protection (~3-minute delay) - Thermal overload protection - Compact wall-mount ABS cabinet - 3-year warranty Pros - Stable cooling after installation - Good protection against voltage fluctuation - Reliable brand and build quality - Easy installation Cons - No digital voltage display - Slight restart delay after power cuts (normal due to ITDS) Overall: A dependable stabilizer for protecting a 1.5-ton AC in areas with unstable voltage supply. Good value for long-term compressor safety.

I recently purchased the V-Guard VG 400 Voltage Stabilizer for my 0.8 Ton Air Conditioner, hoping it would provide a reliable solution to regulate the voltage within the recommended range of 170V to 270V. However, I am extremely disappointed with its performance and would strongly advise against purchasing this product. Right from the moment I connected the VG 400 to my air conditioner, it was clear that this transformer was unable to handle the voltage requirements of the AC unit. Despite boasting a wide input voltage range, it struggled to maintain a consistent voltage output. This resulted in constant fluctuations, causing severe damage to my air conditioner. Not only did the VG 400 fail to stabilize the voltage within the specified limits, but it also caused frequent power disruptions. On multiple occasions, the stabilizer shut down abruptly, leaving my air conditioner and other electronic devices vulnerable to voltage surges. It was frustrating to witness the VG 400's inability to fulfill its basic purpose of safeguarding my appliances. Moreover, the build quality of the VG 400 is subpar. The flimsy plastic casing feels cheap and fragile. I expected a more durable and sturdy construction, especially considering the price I paid for this supposedly advanced voltage stabilizer. The worst part of this whole experience has been the customer support provided by V-Guard. When I reached out to them to report the issues and seek assistance, their response was lackluster, to say the least. They showed little concern for my situation and failed to provide any meaningful solution or compensation for the damages caused by their product. In conclusion, I strongly discourage anyone from purchasing the V-Guard VG 400 Voltage Stabilizer for their air conditioner. It simply does not deliver on its promises and falls short of supporting the voltage needed for an air conditioner. Save yourself the hassle, frustration, and potential damage to your appliances by exploring other, more reliable options in the market.
