OXOGood Grips Bag Clips 2-Pack

This review is for the OXO Good Grips Bag Clips 2-Pack White.I also have a few of the red ones that I have had a couple of years now.They came with a gritty black crap all over them. I tracked down the culprits and they are the black rubber inserts in the clips themselves.Once I washed them really good, there were no other incidences of the inserts shedding particles.

As with most things you get what you pay for! $3 a piece for a chip clip may seem like a lot but these are the real deal. Very solidly built and the feel like they should last decades. Perhaps more importantly they will do what they are designed to do, keep the stuff in your bag from going stale! The spring is strong enough to really lock down a good sized bag of chips, veggies, pet food, etc. I am very happy with this purchase and even bought a second set of red ones for variety!I should note that these can indeed hang a hook as a good storage option. The holes are over 1/2" diameter so they should fit on almost any reasonably sized hook. The clips are strong enough that you could use these to hang most chip type bags if you chose to do so.

I love Good Grip products; you know that you are always getting a high-quality product when you purchase one of their items.When I needed some more chip clips, I checked my local store for them, but they only had some by a different brand that weren't as nice and that were the same price as these. I ended up ordering two sets on Amazon since we use these for all kinds of things.This size is perfect for larger bags, and the grip on these is really strong, so they keep foods fresh.The rubber grip at the top of the clip also makes them easy to grab onto if you have grip issues or wet hands.

Have had these for years now. Came across this listing of my long ago Amazon orders and realized these things have held up great for a long time.

I use these clips in many ways - to close bags of chips or frozen veggies, to hold recipe books open as I cook, to hold together hair elastics in my bathroom drawer, and to hold the curtains closed in hotel rooms.OXO makes great quality items and these don't disappoint. The larger size works well for big bags or large jobs, unlike the smaller clips. And the heavy duty plastic and sturdy spring means they don't snap apart after a few months.

Well, what can really be said about this item... it's a bag clip, and it's white. It's large, designed for bigger bags like full sized potato chip, or cookie bags, it seems quite durable, it looks rather stylish, and it clips things shut to keep them fresh.The way I look at it, if this saves me from having two bags of cookies from going stale, then it'll have paid for itself. It would be nice if it had a magnet on the back though to stick to the fridge or something.Also, the clips are made in China. I don't understand why we can't even build plastic clips in this country anymore, but that's another story.

I bought a ton of these because I was sick of running out of binder clips for bags. These are big and wide, and work best for cereal and chip bags. Smaller items are more troublesome, because you might run out of bag surface area to clip onto. If you go through a lot of "family-sized" bags, get this for sure.

Over the last few years I've becomes a fan of OXO. They really do make some quality products. These bag clips are no different. They are large (almost completely spanning the width of a large family size chip bag), they have rubber grips along the inside of the clip as well as on the thumb and the spring strength is better then any other clip I've used. They cost a little more then other clips but I say they are worth it.
