So, the product actually works EXACTLY as described. They say give it 48hrs for full color to be exposed (see image). I took a few photos to track time lapse (sorry lighting wasn't identical), but it clearly shows the progression. Great way to try before u buy anything permanent. I LOVE IT!Do NOT buy if u need an immediate same day tatoo for an event. You MUST give it the full 48hrs.ProTip for Application: cut the tatoo with about a 1-2cm space around it. Before u peel off the clear film hold it to your skin in desired location and then draw a couple of reference points with a pen on your skin, so it's easy to line it up when u remove the film and place the tatoo on the skin. And Yes you DO place the tatoo with the full color side up, as shown in instructions. Be generous as u thoroughly soak the tatoo paper with a warm wet sponge and press to your skin. Keep it as still as possible, so the tatoo transfers as desired. The wet paper should "slide" off the skin leaving the tatoo on the skin. U will see a transparent outline of the tatoo on the skin (no color will show). The color will turn darker over the next 48hrs.Hope that helps!

I bought the temporary tat to trick my older adult children as one has begun getting them. The result looks real but too aged for one of them to fall for it. Had fun anyway.Instructions are not detailed enough.Shave the area first. Remove plastic sheet and place exposed side on skin. Soak with cool water washcloth through paper for around 5 minutes (Any shorter makes the tattoo image lighter). Remove paper and tattoo will be transparent (a sheen of it can be seen at an angle). It will not be impressive for the first 12 hours or so but after three days, it will be as expected. Look like the real deal. Sad to know it is made in China

They take soooo long to show up. I did one after like 5pm one day and then the next day it had smeared. So I was left with a smeared long lasting tattoo! Not what I had expected.

This is a pretty cool thing to try out. However.. make sure you shave the area where you plan to put the tattoo. I did a few of the designs and most of them worked very well. However some just never got dark. Still worth it in my opinion. Just try it out. Is all for fun anyway.

These tattoos are disappointing. The color is supposed to come up over seceral day, but it never really got dark enough to read well.

I got this for my grandson for his 16th birthday. I was skeptical at first, because I know at that age , kids are actually wanting real tattoos. Easy to use and looked nice when on. Only thing was came off after a few days in swimming pool on holiday.
