And the provided brass barb fittings are good as well.Pump performance is strong and reliable. The rubber anti-vibration feet do a pretty good job reducing the amount of noise generated by the running pump.This pump should last a long time if used and treated properly. Pump comes with two threaded to barb fittings. The nomenclature says 3/8" FNPT, but it's not. Also, the barb fitting is not 3/8". My local hydraulic fitting store says they can't get the parts because they don't carry British Pipe Standard items.

Fittings are straight threat not NPT. Works but annoying as not a US standard.

Installed pump for customer that is having a fuel issue with their crane. Pump helped main fuel pump build pressure to get crane running till main fuel pump comes in for replacing.

I run a business that uses a significant amount of various fluids, oil being one of them. I had my mechanic install this pump inline with our 55 gallon drums of diesel engine oil and set it up for manual control with on and off switch.It has now been used in our shop every day for the last two months and its operating perfectly. 3 gallons a minute is about right, which makes controlling the flow easy. Actually, I wish it were a little more but I have found over 5 or 6 gallons a minute gets a bit more difficult to control and spills happen more often. I WILL NOT seek out a higher volume.This pump is well made and an excellent value for the money. I will be buying more over the winter.

says for machinery Lubricants( OIL)on pump says water transfer. very slow and does not produce volume of oil as states.

I’m sure it’s a good pump but the instructions clearly state not for fuel use.
