Best overall stick IMO.
These are my favorite sticks right now. I have always like the "Xtreme" Vic Firth sticks. I like the extra length they have. I played X5A and X5AN for a long time after using the X55B and X55BN and noticing the they were a little too loud for hat I needed. The X5A's are great and I always have some on hand for quieter gigs but the "NEW" X55A are the best balanced stick for size and weight. However I have ordered sticks and when I get them they seem way too light weight and feel hollow. That is the only drawback to ordering sticks online.

Great Sticks
A member on our worship team suggested these to me. Gotta say his suggestion was right on. They are like a cross between a 5a and a 7a. They are beefier than a 7 so you don't feel like you're going to throw them when playing but they are not super thick that they are too heavy. I play mostly on a Roland kit and they work really well for that. Have not had a chance to play them on an my Pearl acoustic kit. But I would imagine they would work well there too.

X55A are the best you can get!
Love this size drumstick. they have the extra length i love and are thicker then the 5a which i need for durability. i play mixes from rock, punk, pop. so they sticks are great. if your looking for more speed i might stick with the x5a because its not quite as thick but it still has the length. hope this helps! Happy Drumming!

Perfect size
Between 5A and 5B with a little extra length. That's the magic formula for me. The wood tips chip before the stick is actually worn out. I will admit, that could be a technique problem on my part.

Good all around stick
Agree with many that these are a great all around stick. Balance is good and they're comfy to hold. Ok for a medium stick. I prefer the sound of something a little lighter like the Steve Jordans I got.

Great sticks for Rock
I love these sticks. The 5As were my old goto. They had the right amount if weight to them and felt really solid. These have the solidity to them but are just a bit lighter to me, which makes them really easy to play with. I like it, they have become my favorites.

Whatch the print...
Great quality as usual, however, the print on the sticks was terrible. I have a pretty good feeling these were a misprint and sold for less. Sanding them down for a project. :) Not a total loss.
