Works just fine
I bought the 2.5 inch core drill to make a hole for a 2 inch pvc pipe through the floor of my basement. Then I installed a Vivosun ducted fan to use as a radon pump. Works great and very cheep. It took probably half an hour of drilling to go through an 8 inch slab of concrete (with wire in it) using a battery powered drill, but it did the job. I used a water bottle to keep water in the hole and wash the mud out. Didn't take much water to keep the bit cool at the slow speed I was drilling.

Just what I needed.
In a recent remodel, to install an island, I found that I needed to drill through the 10 in concrete foundation wall. This did the job. It worked a lot better than I thought it was going to. I was very impressedI used a two and a half inch hole saw to cut through the wooden sill plate of the exterior wall, then swapped to this for the concrete. As others have mentioned this is not quick. It took roughly four and a half hours to drill through 10 in of concrete. As the instructions tell you do not use a hammer drill, this will break the carbide off the drill bit. Keep it slow, keep it clean, and keep it wet and you won't have any problems.I was a little bummed out, spending that much money to drill one hole, but in the long run it was worth it. The plumber I talked to, was going to charge $300, which is more than three times what I paid for this drill bit.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs it.

Worth the money
I drilled 26 hole that ranged from 6” to 9” in concrete with rebar before had to get a new one. I did buy the same one.

Exceeded expectations
We were able to drill 18 holes with ONE. Bit still looks brand new. Far exceeded our expectations.

Low quality, had to weld plate back on to shaft
This core bit isn't very strong. The back of the plate broke off from the core bit. I welded it back on to continue my project. It will not go through rebar. The teeth were bent inwards and now it is worthless.

Great wet core drill bits
Work great for our work can drill more holes for better price. Was buying at blurock but these are better and so much cheaper.
