I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well this shampoo works for adding volume without weighing my hair down. It cleans well, rinses easily, and leaves my hair feeling light instead of flat or coated. For a basic, no-frills shampoo, it does exactly what it promises. I also like that it doesn’t dry my hair out the way some volumizing shampoos can. My hair feels soft afterward, and I can definitely see more lift at the roots, especially when I style it. The scent is clean and mild, nothing overpowering. This is a great option if you want something affordable that still performs well. It’s easy to use, dependable, and a solid choice for everyday washing when you want a little extra body without spending a lot.

Good shampoo, cleans well, nice scent, great value

I use this as a clarifying shampoo or the first to break down buildup before going in with a different shampoo, it cleans well. It’s a classic and unbeatable price. I have repurchased V05 products several times. I do not recommend using in hair length as it can be a bit drying. The scent is a classic soap scent but not overpowering.

For this price and this shampoo has been around since I was a little kid it’s still good shampoo. I just can’t believe it’s like a dollar. I mean it’s a good deal and it smells pretty good and you don’t have to use a ton to get your hair all lathered up. It’s a good thing

The best, most affordable shampoo I know of. I've been using V05 for decades and always find it a nice lather, and a solid shampoo. It goes on thick and leaves hair clean as well as any expensive salon shampoo I've used.

Good for everyday use, it does give my hair body and volume but it also makes it slightly dry

It’s a very good no nonsense shampoo. Smells fresh and cleans your hair without stripping or drying it out. Doesn’t clog pores too. It’s even ok to use everyday or every other day.

I have always loved VO5 shampoo and conditioner but have a hard time getting it in Canada.
