simplicol expert fabric paint for washing machine or manual colouring: Tie Dye, Recolour, and Restore Your Fabrics and Clothes - Midnight Black (pack of 1)

I've used this dye to colour my husband's faded navy blue shorts and it worked like magic. Colour turned out not midnight black though, it's more like dark blue but it is very even and actually really nice colour. Easy to use in washing machine, clear instrustions and great result. Already bough 2 more to dye my own jeans!

This worked a treat. I did it by hand in a bowl because I was worried about ruining my machine based on previous reviews. The packet includes instructions for doing it both ways. I had spilt bleach on a favourite pair of (red) trousers. Firstly I bleached the whole thing in a bowl to get it even (as the dye most likely wouldn't evenly cover a small bleach stain). After washing and drying, I followed the instructions for dying in a bowl - soaked for one hour in hot water with the dye. I stirred it with a wooden spoon every 15 mins for one hour. Then rinsed in cold water until the water ran near-enough clear. Then put in the washing machine and washed on a standard 40C cycle. Did an empty wash cycle on the machine afterwards in case any residue remained. Trousers have come out great, evenly dyed and my machine is fine!

Product arrived quickly and worked well providing a good colour to my garment; but only after I spent ALOT of time translating the instructions into English!!

Worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon. Does not work at all despite following the instructions perfectly. Total waste of money.

The color is different.Could be black,but this is blue.

I had two garments that is accidently stained with bleach. Nor.ally they would be binned. I purchased this product as was a cheap option and even though the I steuctions were not in English I tipped the packet into a bowl, added kettle water and my garments and straight away the bleach was gone and fabric back to black. #AMAZING

The instructions for this product are not in English, so; I had to do some guess work based on other products I've used. It did the trick, but I think I'll go back to using dylon. As I fine the coverage better and it makes the cloths look new rather than dyed.

Used to dye an old pair of jeans, I love the result!
