I had to try one out before deciding if they were worth taking on my trip. The result is a strong yes. First, they are quite large but won’t take the place of a bath towel (except in a pinch). I didn’t expect them to. They work very well as a supplemental hair towel and for squeezing out extra water when hand washing. They dry exceptionally fast and last many times. They held up surprisingly well in the washing machine with only a small tear. However, they left a lot of lint so I wouldn’t recommend that. By that time, you should probably discard it or use it for a cleaning cloth. These are a good value and deserve a place in my suitcase. For those who complain about trouble unrolling them you must first prepare them by wetting them and hanging to dry which only takes a couple of hours.

It's crazy how adding a little water transforms this small little round thing that fits in the palm of your hand into a oversized, thick paper towel. Since you've got to use some water to get it to expand, it will be damp, so it's a bit weird using it to dry off. But it works, and when you're done you can just throw it out. Really great for traveling.

The towels were very large and surprisingly worked very well! They dry quick as well. We took them to our trip to Costa Rica to save on renting towels at the hot springs. I saved them and brought them home. I plan to cut them up and use them as cleaning clothes because the material is super soft and absorbent. Overall, great purchase. Even the frogs in our villa loved them.

They are real useful especially when traveling. The packaging makes it easier and compact. May i add these are very soft and durable, and good quality for the skin.

I bought the compressed towels to put in my backpack when I go on vacation. It was one of those "just in case" impulse buys that sounds cool and since it was cheap and light I went for it. Well... I was on vacation in Honduras and the towels that we had from the cruise ship got soaked all the way through in a pop up rain storm. I had backup clothes in a dry bag... but thanks to the rain, I had no way of drying off with the towel from the ship. When the rain stopped I was able to put a little bit of water on the puck to expand it enough that I could open it up. Once I had it open I was able to fully dry off from head to toe with enough length to wrap around my body with room to spare... and I am not a skinny man! These compressed towels are cheap insurance to keep in a bag if you find yourself soaked and need to dry off. The cool part is that they are durable enough that you could wash them, they dry dry quickly, then you can fold them up (not as tight as they were) and reuse them again.

Decent size and absorbency but has a wet dog smell the second you expand it. I should’ve rinsed it with soap before drying it and using it. But not terrible for a work towel since some jerks like to knock towels off lockers or throw them away
