Organic beans have the flavor, hands down in my opinion, and these black beans are an excellent choice. Have cooked up two batches with nothing but cumin and garlic. No salt needed, they are that flavorful on their own. Highly recommend, along with this company’s split peas. Will try their other beans soon.

It’s been hard finding black organic beans lately they are pricy but they are delicious very thin skin on the beans they are clean and creamy!

bought these to grow in garden. They did not work. Mayby 5% grew. Ended up going to Walmart and buying off shelf and those grew. I thought buying organic beans would be better. Lesson learned.

the beans are old. they will not soften. doesn't matter how long you soak/cook them, they're still a bit crunchy.

I've always used the same cooking method when cooking black beans, but for these beans, many ramdom beans came out hard and undercooked. I think this can happen when there are old beans mixed in the bag. Won't buy this brand again.

I like these beans, they have an excellent flavor.
