What a find and what a steal at $7.59 for 200 laces for which I can envision a few crafting projects for children as well as the product's initial purpose of being shoelaces. The kids can use these to improve dexterity skills and to practice making diverse knots. They are great for a neck "chain" to hold a house key, a medal, or dog tags. The laces's colors range from neon yellows, pinks and reds, orange, cantaloupe, and green to mundane white, diverse blues, brown, mustard, and black. For craft projects, we can crochet, make bracelets, and fashion chain purses and pencil cases. I plan to make a few such cases by using the strong shipping plastics and/or the frozen fruit pouches to fashion the purses, wallets, and pencil cases or tote bags along with the colorful laces to "stitch" and decorate the outside seam edges. I'm sure that art teachers and creative students can imagine many more possibilities for these inexpensive "cords."

The laces were o.k., but I was really disappointed in the colors. I wanted to use these for activities for children, but most of them were dark brown or black--which obviously won't spark the interest of my kids. As you can see in the picture, the only colorful ones we some pink and a couple blue.

These are so good for the price and I have multuple pairs of lace up boots and I adore matching and miamatching the colors to my outfits.
