Crave is a pretty old brand that disappeared for a while and came back as a grain free line of pet foods. It's pretty good stuff too. My very allergic cat doesn't get sick from this and the cost is reasonable. I can't tell you much more. **Q: Why does it say no chicken meal in one of the photos, and yet the second ingredient is Chicken Meal for the salmon & ocean fish flavor?** A: The reap was correct. Chicken meal is simply chicken without the liquid. It's sort of like dehydrated chicken (though differently processed) and, in fact, my research suggests that it my even be better because in the process the chicken becomes more concentrated (per kibble, that is). (I WISH!) **Q: What percentage is carbohydrates?** A: As was correctly noted by others, cats are obligate carnivores. They lack the carb processing enzymes that are required for proper digestion of carbs and will therefore experience physical distress when they are fed carbs—even carbs that smell like "chicken".
