ESR for MagSafe Car Mount, Car Phone Holder for iPhone 17-12,Samsung/Google

I purchased the car mount about 8 weeks ago. It was easy to install, the adhesive is strong, and the MagSafe magnet is firm yet one can still release the iPhone when needed with little fuss. I believe it's a solid product, and I can see myself using it for a long time to come. But like many things in life, nothing is perfect. About six weeks into using it, the nut (which allows the MagSafe mount to stay fixed facing a particular direction) cracked and eventually completely broke. This rendered my mount almost useless. I immediately reached out to ESR to ask for a replacement nut. Not only did they respond quickly, they merely asked for photos of the damage, and then shipped out a replacement. Not a replacement nut, but a brand new mount. Diana, the customer care service member I dealt with was wonderful, and she kept her word. ESR's product is good, and their customer care team is even better.

I like this mount a lot. It's sleek and unobtrusive and kind of fits the design of a Tesla in general. The initial install was easy, it comes with a mounting jig. It's a solid piece, and you feel comfortable putting your phone on the mount. Everything was great, until last week, it fell off. There was no residue on the back of the screen where it was mounted, and the tape they provided seemed to have retained some of its tackiness. They talk in the listing about an extensive warranty, so I figured, what the heck, I'd give it a shot. I went to their website and emailed, but to be honest, I didn't think there was any shot I'd hear back. Instead, I expected to be ignored, and planned on finding replacement tape or another option. Much to my surprise, not only did they answer promptly, but they immediately offered to not only send me replacement tape for my existing mount, but a whole new mount. It arrived yesterday, 5 days total after my initial contact. I'm thrilled and more importantly impressed with the level and speed of their customer service (and the make of the item itself). You've got a customer for life.

I followed the installation instructions for this mount to a T in my Model 3 Tesla and got several months of usage out of this mount. It is a great mount and I like that I can quickly move it from a side mount to a top mount. The magnet works great with my Magsafe case and never had a problem removing or attaching it to the mount. One evening I noticed that my phone kept slowly rotating downward and was not staying in position. Eventually the whole mount fell off the back side of my Tesla screen and I realized the adhesive had come loose where the mount attaches to the screen. It was in the heat of summer so I'm not sure if that played a role in it or if my iPhone 14 Pro Max was too much weight for the adhesive. Either way, it wasn't too convenient to lose my phone mount when I had a lot of driving left to do that evening. The kit does come with a 2nd adhesive. I just have not spent the time to remove the partial adhesive on the back of my screen and try to re-attach the mount using the replacement adhesive. I suspect the provided adhesive just isn't sufficient for a larger phone like the Pro Max. It's a shame as I did like the versatility of the mount but probably only got 2-3 good months of usage out of it before it failed me.

It feels like a well crafted product but I’m afraid the magnet on this thing is too strong. I’ve bought it twice and it has broke again while removing it from my the holder. Only suggestion I can give is be VERY careful removing it

I bought this for my Polestar 3 so that I could mount my phone next to the center screen. This mount works like a champ! Installation was easy but you should wait 24 hours before using it with your phone so that the adhesive cures on the back of the screen. Since installation and countless mounting and dismounting of my phone, the holder has not budged! I assumed from other mounts that I’d have to adjust and re-tighten the mount arm from repeated use - I was wrong. The are has not budged at all, which I find impressive. I have a mag-safe case on my iPhone 17 Pro Max and can confirm that the mount’s magnet is very strong. The phone does NOT bounce or jiggle as i drive over less than optimal roads. It’s quite solid. Once mounted I can easily tilt the phone front/back and left/right with ease. It’s tight so I don’t find myself having to readjust at all. With so many mounts out there you just never know. One tip: make sure that the back of your screen is flat. I believe most are, but if there’s a curve it may be more difficult to get a solid attachment to the screen. Once attached, the arm and MagSafe connector is adjustable.

The phone mount is self works good however it is very loud and makes a loud rattling sound as you're driving. The sound is very annoying and hard to listen to. Also the plastic knob that you turn to tighten the mount broke on the first day so the amount is no longer usable. I would like to return it however the adhesive on the back of my screen is too strong and I cannot remove it. Update: I didn't even need to reach out to the seller and they contacted me on their own. They offered me a full refund or a replacement for free which ever I choose. I would have totally tried a new one however I had already purchased another one so I didn't need it. The seller emailed me again and told me to pick anything out of their store of equal value which I found a nice phone case for my iPhone 14 Pro Max and it was sent to me within days. They exceeded my expectation in regards to making sure I was a satisfied customer. I'll definitely be purchasing from them again.

There are a bunch of cheap phone mounts but this one stands out from them all. This one is made of aluminum with a nice gun metal gray finish. It’s a nice touch in my truck. For those of you that drive the new Silverado, you know it’s hard to find a good spot to put a phone mount as the dashboard doesn’t give many options to mount. Additionally, I’m not the kind of person that’s going to stick something directly to the leather dashboard. So the options were quite limited. I found this spot right on the grab handle to work out very well. It supports vertical and horizontal mounting very well. This phone mount is very nice. I highly recommend because it feels very sturdy and fits my truck aesthetic nicely. The 3M tape they give (with one additional just in case) seems to have a great adhesion and doesn’t seems like it’s going to fall off. The instructions were extremely clear. Overall I have to say 10/10 product.

It works for 12 months an then it breaks.

I just installed it, so far I'm super pleased with its quality. Im using it for my S06 soueast car. Will wait 24hrs and see if it has sticked perfectly and hold well my phone which is S24 Ultra with 1TB storage. My phone is pretty heavy so im hoping it will hold out long😍 will comeback and update my feedback if it holds even on humps 🥹

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! Mostly metal composition, providing a high-quality feel as well as an ultra-premium aesthetic. The rotating arm allows adjustment along all axis' from the pivot-point, resulting in ultimate customization with regard to phone position and placement. The Magsafe magnets are SUPER STRONG. If you are using with an ESR case in particular, you may need to two-hand your device off. Even going caseless, I have never felt even the slightest that my phone would detach. The template installation for Tesla screen mounting works flawlessly. I have used on another vehicle as a dashboard mount, and the adhesive extra included adhesive dashboard pad worked just as well. Wanting to move my mount for a third time I inquired about where I could purchased another advesive pad, and ESR offered to send me one at no charge. A++ customer service/support in my books.
