I've always had a little back pain from sitting down for a long period time at work and home. I was once told by a friend that a knee pillow can help during sleep to ease of my pain from the hip and back. When I first purchased a new pillow, I selected a product from Amazon with many reviews with half the cost the Cushion Lab. I was very skeptical if a knee pillow would be beneficial to my pain, so I decided to save a few dollars. Mistake. It provided a bit of relief, but, simply, it couldn’t last the night. I would be easily crushed and couldn’t lift my leg up. It was more apparent over the months as it deteriorated. Then my wife bought the Cushion Lab for her pain as well without me knowing. I've told my wife that she wasted her money because a knee pillow wouldn't work and asked her to return. However, my wife wanted to give it a try. The next day, she said that she felt great! So I went through the Cushion Lab's reviews, and their talk about quality really struck a chord with me. Then I decided to give them a try even though they have fewer reviews. The difference was significant, as my pain has been greatly reduced and the pillow stayed supportive throughout the night. I woke up happy, and I was well rested. It is indeed well made like other reviews mentioned. The foam in the pillow is much denser, the pillow is slightly heavier, and it felt a more heavy duty. Therefore, I suspect it will last for a long time. Lesson learned: Don’t skimp out on quality. Just like one of the reviewers said... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR... Please don't skimp out on products those especially related to your health... It's better to be safe than sorry!

I have Grade 1 retrolisthesis of the L5 which leaves me with permanent lower back pain, which is worst in the mornings. I have to sleep on my side as sleeping on my back renders me immobile, and although Im in pain in the mornings, sleeping on my side means I can still get myself out of bed (Im only 42 so not exactly over the hill yet) This pillow arrived yesterday. I used it last night, and hand on heart I have at least a 70% reduction in my usual morning pain. I have used a pillow like this in the past for a hip injury, but after being used for about a month the foam lost all rigidity and my knees were touching in the morning. There is no way on this earth this foam is going to flatten out. Fabulously firm but not uncomfortable to use. The cover is lovely and soft, and added bonus has a kind of slippery feel to it which I found helped when i rolled over, as it did not grip my sheets and pull out of position, as I found my last one with a towelling cover did. I have given the softness rating 1 star as its not soft, and nor it should be. This is the only model of knee pillow you need to look at. Get your credit card out... you're buying it.

I have been having a lot of back pain when I wake up in the morning, and I thought that it was because of my mattress. But I realized that it was because I am sleeping on my side with not enough neck and knee support. The Cushion Lab knee pillow has really helped align my back during sleep to alleviate my back pain. I like the cushion because it is very soft and the memory foam is dense. I also use it as a neck pillow sometimes because it's more firm that normal memory foam pillows. If I could change one thing, I wish the middle of the pillow was a little thicker so there is a wider gap between the knees, but I don't think other knee pillows are made any thicker.

My hip hasn't felt the same since giving birth to two kids. Found this knee pillow and thought I would give it a try. The initial feeling when I opened the package is great, no weird odor like some other pillows. The memory foam is unique, it is firm, yet comfortable. I also like the removable/ washable cover, it is very well-made with good quality fabric. I have been using it at night for a few days now, it really helps me with my sleep, creating the perfect gap between my knees and alleviating the hip pain I normally get when sleeping on my side. I wish I had this pillow when I was pregnant. highly recommend it to anyone with knee/ joint pain/ pregnant/ or just like side-sleeping in general.

This item is comfortable. However, this product could offer a more firm support. Even on the bulkier side, it squished down too much and I do not feel enough support on my neck. The knee pillow is good and offers th right amount of cushion. However, it could be longer to give more support to the lower leg.

If you're a heavy sleeper with back or hip pain, this pillow is for you! This pillow is made of very firm foam- I've tried using regular pillows to fit between my knees or thighs, but they just never offered the support I needed. Not so with this guy! I've been using this pillow for over two years now, and it is an absolute must for me to sleep now. With a herniated disc in my low back, I just can't get comfortable without it. I like that the case can be removed for cleaning too. Other bonus that I didn't anticipate when I purchased it- this pillow is also great if you have an injury or condition that requires you to elevate your foot or arm. Simply place a pillow below the wedge so it's at the desired height, and the u-shape of the wedge really helps to hold your ankle or arm in place.

I have been bothered by misalignment in my back, causing constant chronic back pain and hip pain. The condition is worsened when I sleep because my hip becomes contorted without support when I sleep on my sides. I’ve tried several knee pillows, they are either enormous or way too small, some doesn’t even feel like memory foam even though they claim they are! The density is just not there and they get squished easily. This one is definitely made with much heavier duty memory foam, very dense and conforms to my leg. I unzipped the cover and found their memory foam to be a different color from the usual yellowish off-white, it looks like a buckwheat color. Perhaps it’s like they claimed, their own special memory foam, it does feel different to me. Size is also ideal and fits between my leg perfectly, offering great support for my knee and more importantly, it perfectly aligns my spin! I was ready to give up after trying the other ones but I am glad I gave this pillow a shot, if you have the same problems with spine alignment or back pain from sleeping, just buy it! Benefit offer by this pillow definite far outweighs the fair price!

I love my Cushion Lab pillow, so I had super high hopes for this item, but unfortunately it was a huge let down. It is very thin. I am 5'2" tall and weigh 92 lbs so for my knees to be touching because of how thin this pillow is, is quite sad. I had several of this type of pillow that worked great, but replaced my last one with this and ended up having to return this and purchase a different one. Sadly, the return process with Amazon is not conducive for people who reside in a rural area and do not have UPS drop off locations closer than an hours drive one way plus let's not forget added time for the bad weather. The pillow is way too soft too, for a knee pillow. It does not help keep good alignment because of how thin it is. I do not recommend this one.
