**Q: Will it with bacnet? the serial ports says, but i am familiar with the firmware on this pice**
A: No, Moxa NPort 5110 does not support BACNet. You can take a look at Moxa MGate 5217 which supports BACNet. However, Amazon current does not have MGate 5217 listed.

**Q: Does it support modbus tcp/ip?**
A: Hi! The NPort series is designed for serial (RS-232/422/485) communication.  It can be easily set up to extend the serial distance over the Ethernet network.

For Modbus TCP, the Moxa MGate MB3000 series is a better choice.  The MGate offers all the setup (such as master/slave) and parameters for the Modbus application.

**Q: does this come with an ethernet cable, and which length ?**
A: It does not include any ethernet cables,
