I like this device alot. I bought my daughter a 2012 Nissan Cube and I does not have Bluetooth for music (calls only 🤦🙄) However, it did have a AUX spot. So I purchased this device and tried it out. I was amazed by the SQ for only being $18 shipped on sale. I charged it out of the box and it has lasted all week on single charge (about 1 hour of listening per day). It links up super fast to Bluetooth. Only complaint I have is that it when using this device the stereo volume isn't as loud as the radio volume. I did adjust the AUX settings to maximize the loudness and it did help. I suppose they did this to help maximize the sound quality of the device. It's well worth the money though

My review is based solely on sound quality for music. I don't use this for calls. I've been searching high and low for a bluetooth receiver that produces high quality sound when listening to music. The sound quality is compared to my "scosche"brand receiver from target.Because this receiver didn't compare to the scosche, I did not spend a lot of time using it. My review is literally based on about 10 minutes of use for music only.The sound quality wasn't terrible if you weren't using the "bass boost" mode. The bass boost feature basically turns down the mid and treble levels which in turn enhances the bass. Its like that kid you grew up with that put a sweet alpine head deck and kicker subwoofers in his 1989 ford escort but kept the factory speakers. My subaru has the 'Harmon Kardon' factory upgrade system and the bass boost mode had a similar effect. With bass boost turned off, the quality was much better, but still not as good as the scosche.One more item worth comment is the excessive bright blue light on this receiver. I found it to be incredibly distracting while night driving. On one of the settings, the light even pulses on and off.Again, I did not use it for phone calls.Even with the minor criticism, I think this is still a decent receiver for the money. I've tested much worse.

I use this in my older car for putting streamed music on my car stereo (via it's analog input option).It's kind of a no-brainer install - it Just Works.No complaints about it - though I was bit surprised when it also put a phone call through to the car speakers, when I wasn't expecting it.Good features for the price!

I use this receiver in my car and it works great. Small and unobtrusive. Good signal reception from my phone. I like it.

Since there are so many of these devices on the market, I'm going to compare this with a well known brand device I had purchased as well. Previously I had used a "Monster" branded bluetooth receiver, which had serious build quality issues with the casing as well as the 3.5mm port. The included port adapter eventually broke on one side, and was overall quite flimsy. Very disappointing from a well-known brand. It was at a similar price point as well.Now when it comes to this device, the build quality is MUCH better than the Monster branded device. I think it's important in this time that lesser known brands does not equate to an inferior product. The battery life is quite good as I've taken 2-hour + trips and not run out of battery. The bluetooth receiver is good and connects automatically with the most recently connected device. No issues with connectivity whatsoever. When it comes to audio quality, it is definitely on par with what you can do with an AUX port. No quite as good as direct bluetooth or physical media, but still good for podcasts, music, etc.Overall would definitely recommend this product.
