A little thicker than most pocket knives, requires a pouch, but very handy!
I used to carry three main tools for helping me do minor maintenance on the machines I work with...a knife, a pair of needlenose pliers and a multi-screwdriver. The company began to frown on the size of pack I was using (that I carried those items as well as a bunch of other things in) so I had to downsize. That being said, I began my search for a decent multi-tool. This one caught my eye, and for the price, it seemed to have everything I needed. It took a little while before I was able to try out the parts I bought it for. The socket set that comes with it is neat, but the Phillips head screwdriver portion works fine for me with the need for the sockets so far. I really like that both the knife and the screwdriver sides have locking mechanisms. The straight edge of the knife comes very sharp, so be careful. The pliers aren't as needle-nosy as my older ones, so that part didn't quite work as I desired, but they do work. I tried the wire cutters on it, but that part failed miserably. That may very well just be because the thickness or the material of the "wire" I was trying to cut was just too much for the cutters. (It wasn't so much a wire as part of a metal spring. The cutters hardly made a mark in that metal, so it wasn't really a fair test.) I do wish the knife had a clip, or that the pouch had a snap on the strap as I don't want to have to thread my belt through the loop whenever I want to carry the pouch or take it off. But other than that, I'm loving this little tool. I'm in complete agreement with the number of good reviews this little gadget has earned. It is a little thicker than your standard pocket knife, so the pouch comes in handy, but I am carrying it around without any issues in another pouch that I bought here on Amazon...see my other reviews. I haven't had to go back to my original tools, so those are now in use at home while I keep this little gem with me at work.

I Love This Knife
I bought this knife for work and I have had to use it more times than I thought I ever would. Accidentally locked myself out of my bedroom after going out of town, and thank goodness I had the knife on me because the tools that come with it saved me lol. The great thing about this knife as well is that it looks bulky, but it really can get into tight spaces like between the frame of your door and doorknob if you need to unscrew it. The blade is sharp, the pliers have great grip and can cut thick wire, the tools are super handy. I also had to use the tools to disassemble a bed frame I was unprepared for -- until I remembered I had it in my bag and luckily had the bits to fit in the hex screws. Seriously, this is such a great and helpful tool. I have had it for two years and it has been handy more times than I ever thought it would be. It also comes with a super nice case which I can thread my belt through at work and keep on my hip at all times if I need it.

RoverTac Multitool Knife
I was apprehensive about ordering a multitool knife less than $50, but I am glad I did. This knife is well made and has innovative features. There is a thumb assist to open knife quickly and with one hand. The blade as well as the Philips screwdriver & bit adapter lock in place for safety and convenience. A push on the locking bar releases both. Nothing more frustrating when trying to unscrew or screw with a blade that is not locked. The plier and wire cutter mechanism is awesome. You merely grab end of plier handle and swing it and the plier jaws out of the recess. It is fairly easy to extract the other tools. The bits comes in a rubber holder and the sheath has a space for it separate from the knife. The bit sleeve is magnetic and holds screwdriver bits well and the bit holder fits snuggly on the Phillip's bar. The sheath is quality material formed hard and not too tight when carrying the knife-tool. Highly recommend this quality tool for everyday use or camping or whatever. It feels solid and not flimsy like some multitools.

In my opinion a solid product that could use a few adjustments...
I really like this product, my only two complaint is, I would have preferred a belt clip instead of a hoop on the holding case and the cutting edges actually meet to cut the wire.

pliers are not strong
bought this to replace a leatherman that had gotten stolen i bought is with the understanding that it is a fraction of the price so it probably wont be as high quality. pros -offers several different bits that fit in pouch with tool -main blade is sturdy and seems to hold up well -compact cons- if you grip anything with the pliers and twist the jaws on the pliers just twist with it - wire cutters flattened out the the point where they are almost useless after using 2 times -it is extremely difficult to get any one of the three smaller tools out without something to pry them out with - the rubber holder for the bits slides down in the pouch and across the bottom so tool wont sit all the way in the case and barely latches shut Probably okay for someone who uses its once in a while but not if you rely on it everyday like i do.

Great bang for buck, dare I say I prefer this over my leatherman.
Didn't run into any of the problems people have talked about. The knife was razor sharp. I could shave the hairs off my arm with ease. The pliers were also really strong. I cut different gauge wires and it handled them all without any issues. I love how the pliers and the knife snap in and out. It's really smooth and to me that's more important than having loads of useless tools crammed in one. It's quite heavily and bulky though considering there aren't many tools in it. Even though my Leatherman is better quality, more durable and has more tools, I honestly throw it in my trunk and won't touch it anymore. It's too stiff and difficult to access all the tools. It's so stiff and crammed full of tools, I'm scared I'm going to sever my fingers when I pull the knives out. This is a perfect example of how important smooth and easy operation is. If your tools are stiff and difficult to access, you're not going to want to use it, no matter how much better the quality is. I'm going to use this cheapy Rovertac multitool as my primary EDC now. FYI this is made under several different brands. You can find better deals sometimes with different or no branding for the same product.

Must have product
Amazing tool and very handy . Great quality Rugged, Reliable, and Razor Sharp! This tactical knife exceeded my expectations. The build quality is outstanding—solid, balanced, and built to last. The blade came razor sharp right out of the box and holds its edge well even after heavy use. The grip feels secure and comfortable, even in wet conditions. Whether for camping, survival, or everyday carry, this knife delivers performance and reliability.

Great but not too smooth
Pros: Packaging was secure and the knife came in a relatively heavy, well-sealed box Includes a protective case and instruction manual explaining parts and functions Comes with a pocket clip, which is smooth and easy to use Blade arrived well-oiled and clearly brand new Includes a small drill/bit attachment feature, which is a creative and useful addition Phillips bit has a slight magnetic hold, which helps keep screws in place Cons: The handle/body feels a bit slippery Blade sharpness is decent but slightly rough — could use light sharpening Very oily out of the box (good for protection, but needs wiping down) Bit attachment takes a moment to figure out Overall Thoughts: First off, the packaging was great. The box was sturdy and sealed properly. The outer Amazon shipping box was slightly damaged during delivery, but the knife itself had no actual damage aside from minor paper peeling on the packaging. Inside, it comes with a protective sheath and an instruction manual that explains the knife’s different parts and functions. The knife itself looks brand new and very well lubricated — you can clearly see the oil applied to protect the blade. It definitely needs a quick wipe before use. The blade is sharp enough to cut paper, but it’s not razor sharp out of the box. It feels slightly rough in certain areas, though there are no chips or visible defects. A quick sharpening would likely improve it. One feature I really like is the included drill/bit attachment. At first, I thought it didn’t fit, but I realized I had it in the wrong section. Once inserted correctly, it works well. The Phillips bit has a light magnetic pull, which helps hold screws in place — that’s a nice touch. Overall, it’s a solid knife with some thoughtful extra features. A little refinement on the handle grip and factory sharpness would make it even better, but it’s a good value for what you get.
