Much better than the chintzy tap tools that comes in cheap tap and die sets. Worth the price. I used a left hand tap instead of an EZ out, kind of. I was prepared to double nut and all thread if it tapped, but serendipity prevailed.

For the price you can’t beat these ratcheting tap handles. While the taps are not production quality, they serve the purpose for threading a hole or cleaning up some buggered threads and I haven’t had any issues yet. Having a ratcheting tap allows you to limit the side loading and you are much more likely to avoid breaking a tap plus it aids in improving your patience When it is so easy to back it out, break the chip, and cut new threads.

I bought this to change the threads for a picatinny rail on a shotgun. It worked on the three holes I did. The bit slipped a bit, that's why I deducted one star. I like that it is ratcheting. Would recommend for small jobs, I can't tell how it would hold up on big jobs.

This is a 1 time use item. I used to chase the threads on my truck. By the time I had finished with the first hole the the threads were gone at the starting end. The rachet would not hold the tap and kept slipping as I tried rachet it. Not much good other than a single use and throw out

chuck jaws not centered, ratchet feature barely works and overall poor build quality.

Bought a slide out cabinet storage solution, and several of the holes wasn't threaded at the factory. Of course it was in a size I didn't have and all the local hardwares stores either didn't have it or it was only in kits that had tons of sizes I already had and cost nearly $100. Amazon to the rescue. For the price of one metric tap at local stores it came with 5 and the holder. Quality is surprisingly good and depite cutting threads into very hard stainless steel, the tap I needed looked brand new after tapping and chasing all holes. Includes the most common smaller metric sizes, and a very secure easy to use holder. Really a lifesaver.

Perfect for my application, tapping an M3 hole with this tap wrench actually worked, unlike the other cheapy wrenches that have problems doing much smaller than M6.

Works very well; comes loose sometimes but no other issues. Manual is better for some cases
