Brilliant design and build quality

Clearly only time will tell about the durability and quality of the product…. But in my experience Grohe are very good quality, particularly important when you live in an area with hard water. Also my plumber is very positive of that. The finishing is good, and function very smooth.

WOW!! I hadnt planned this product aspart of our high spec bathroom this year and had bought different products, but our bathroom fitter suggested we look at this SmartControl unit and WOW - I am sooooo glad he did this is absolutely amazing!!! We have had it nearly a year now and it just looks sleak and stylish, plus is such a practical item! Grohe are such a great, reliable brand too. This arrived fast from Amazon too as I knew it would and as was important at the time!! Very happy customer :)

Very good service, nice and useful product

You need to but the rapido box to go with this. But despite my plumber fitting according to the specifications, the little bit of plastic that connects the temperature control between the two parts was too short. It touched but not long enough to properly engage. All the other parts were more than long enough and had to be cut to fit - so I don’t know why this one piece wasn’t long enough. Grohe were not much use in contact - other than to say they didn’t understand it. We had to buy the extension kit - so paid £141 to get an inch of plastic! Unfortunately, this was the only feasible option. This control unit and the rapido box cost £310 - the extra £141 was an unpleasant addition. That said, now that it is installed it is wonderful to use and adequately supplies a drench shower, a wall shower and the bath filler.
