The original Maxwell headband got uncomfortable very quickly, putting a lot of pressure on the top of the head. Even though this headband is technically not compatible with Maxwells, all it took was carefully widening the holes with a screwdriver and pushing the mounting pins with a pair of pliers to make it work. The band is extremely good quality and the comfort is on another level, solved all the issues the original band was causing

Very good. Second replacement strap I've had, and arguably better than either the original or my previous replacement. I wish someone would make a more permanent mesh version, but of the types you're going to need to replace every couple of years this is undoubtedly a great one, despite also being the cheapest.

A bit pricey but it is lasting well and has made my Audeze Maxwells way more comfortable.

My LCD-X now have a SUSPENSION BAND again, nice one!

I got this as I have been wearing my LCD 2's a low and through the amount of use the headband has really started to fall apart. The headphones look really shabby because of this and this sucks because of how much the headphones cost, so I got this to replace it and bring the headphones back up to their former glory. The headband comes in a this super fine grain leather. This leather is super plush and silky soft to the touch, this is a similar quality to the original and when fitted looks in keeping with the original look. The leather has been really well finished, it is supple and soft which are hall marks of quality materials being used. The construction of it is also top notch. The seam that goes along the edge is uniform and tight. There are no rough stitches and they are evenly spaced. The fitment of this took only a couple of minutes with the included screwdriver. I simply removed the old one and replaced it with the new one. The holes are perfectly cut so there isn't too much wiggle room, everything fit snuggly together and I am very happy with the results! Overall, is this worth £24.95? a resounding yes! The material quality is great, the construction is excellent and to bring a pair for £800 back to their former glory, this is well worth it as a replacement! 5/5!

The headband looks and feels great; easily exceeding the (fake leather) original Audeze part, which sadly has degraded significantly; not through use, just through age. This is why real leather is always preferable to the artificial stuff; the latter always breaking down after a relatively short period of time. The finish on this is excellent; the leather soft, the stitching uniform and the edges sealed neatly. A small driver of appropriate size is included. Fitting is easily; though that's more down to the simple bolt-on plate approach that Audeze use with most of their headphones. As such, these headbands are also compatible with quite a few models in the Audeze range.

Nachdem einige Rezensenten hier geschrieben hatten, dass sie dieses Kopfband auf einem Audeze Maxwell verwenden, wollte ich dies auch versuchen. Mit etwas Gewalt und/oder Zuhilfenahme eines Lochers, kann man die Befestigungslöcher etwas größer machen und somit dieses Kopfband auf dem Maxwell nutzen, empfehlen würde ich dies aber nicht, man merkt es ist nicht dafür gemacht. Persönlich nutze ich entweder das originale Maxwell Kopfband oder das Silikonkopfband von Wicked Cushions, hier in der größten Einstellung. Nutzt man nun das LCD Kopfband auf dem Maxwell, kommt dies in etwa der mittleren Einstellung beim originalen Maxwell Kopfband gleich, also nichts für meinen Kopf. Für LCD ja, für Maxwell eher nein. Ansonsten kann man qualitativ nichts an diesem Kopfband aussetzen. Gut verarbeitet, tut was es soll, wenn man es auf dem dafür vorgesehen Kopfhörer verwendet. Sehr bequem.

Ho acquistato questa fascia per sostituire quella originale ormai consumata del mio Audeze LCD-X, e devo dire che è stata una scelta azzeccatissima. Il comfort è migliorato sensibilmente: il peso si distribuisce meglio sulla testa, e anche dopo sessioni di ascolto lunghe non sento più quel fastidio alla parte superiore del cranio. La pelle bovina è di ottima qualità, ben cucita e morbida al tatto. Si abbina perfettamente allo stile delle cuffie senza stonare, anzi, aggiunge un tocco ancora più “premium”. PRO: ✅ Pelle di alta qualità, vera e morbida ✅ Cuciture robuste e ben fatte ✅ Comfort migliorato, soprattutto su modelli pesanti come gli LCD-2/3/4 ✅ Compatibilità perfetta, installazione facile CONTRO: ❌ Prezzo un po’ alto per una fascia, ma giustificato dalla qualità ❌ Attenzione a fissarla bene: se non montata correttamente può scivolare un po’ Nel complesso, un accessorio che consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia migliorare la comodità delle proprie Audeze. Fa davvero la differenza, soprattutto per gli ascolti prolungati.

Punched hole set in between the ones provided and installed on Audeze Maxwell. Works great and I can now wear the headset without hotspots that occured with the stock headband. Highly recommended if stock band is causing you issues. I used a leather hole puncher and the stock band to make sure the holes matched original ones.

DOES NOT FIT NEWER AUDEZE MAXWELL & MAXWELL 2! This is not a fault of the product, but just leaving this review in the hopes that people will not purchase this product, as I did, thinking it was compatible. The newer versions of the Maxwell, and the Maxwell 2, do not have screw in studs that can be removed to enable this headband strap to be used. A shame, since it looks to be of great quality.
