Great for chickens
Chickens really like this, super easy to use. I bought a dispenser. Seems to help their eggshells. Not sure about taste but the texture and appearance seems good.

Not for small birds
This is great for chickens but not for chicks or quail. The pieces are rock hard and much too big for very small birds. They are too big for my jumbo quail. These quail weigh about 14 ounces on average. They started to eat it and then would not touch it. After 4 weeks I gave up and got them chick grit.

Perfect for chickens, too big for quail. There is no quail size for oyster shell. Just crushed, flaked, and powdered. I have to run it through a corn grinder so it is just a bit smaller. My quail love it.
