Moondrop MC2 Microphone Upgrade Cable 3.5mm 0.78mm 2pin Earphone Upgrade Cable

I bought this cable to replace the stock cable for my Crinacle Zero:2 IEMs and get something with a microphone. Braided cable feels high quality and does not tangle. I expect as much, given the price. I find $30 for a 0.78mm 2-pin to 3.5mm cable with an inline microphone to be a bit much but I was willing to shell out the cash for a cable that would last and would feel quality. For me it is the perfect length. Enough length to go from my ears to my pocket with extra slack, but not so much that the slack in the cable is hanging down to my knees. Haven't had the chance to test the microphone yet. I will try to remember to edit this review once I have tested it. TL;DR - I think they're worth the investment for someone who uses IEMs a good bit and values the quality of their cable. Someone who wants a budget cable could probably settle for something cheaper. Looking forward to putting this cable in the Kefine AngelEars Delci IEMs that I've ordered as an upgrade to my Zero:2s

Exactly what I needed, hard to find the correct ends. Great braided cord for durability.

Jack didn't last but a week or so. Got a replacement sent immediately. After about a month- the right side started going out and the inline mic/controls stopped working. Swear these straight jacks are the weakest. Going back to a 90° jack to see what happens. Mic is garbage, too. People I've called complained about a fuzz coming from my end when I spoke. Feel stupid I even purchased this cable. It's no better than the cheaper Linsouls I've been buying. 6/07/26 - Tip from the replacment cable broke off in my other phone. I had to take it to someone to get it removed. Not happy.

Amazing upgrade for 28 bucks. It looks great, its very pliable and the microphone sounds clean.

Mostly used mine for gaming since I don’t like headsets. I paired them with the Moon Chu 2s but those didn’t come with a mic and the cable was whatever. The quality of the mic is pretty good. Perfect length in my opinion. It’s worth the $20.

Excellent cable!!! Sounds great and mic works as advertised. The cable looks and feels premium. I don't get the negative reviews? I have 50 plus IEM'S and this cable is better than most of the cables I have.

$30 for a microphone cable? Okay, what's the catch? Everything about this cable feels premium. Durability is good, the cable isn't too thick or stiff, and I like the silver color as it goes with many IEM's. My biggest gripe is kind of a big one though... The mic doesn't always seem like it's on when it's plugged in. Like I'll talk into the mic hole but it won't pick up my voice. This happens at least 1/3 of the time and is very annoying when I'm trying to com with other players. It works well and has good clarity when it does work, but when it doesn't it defeats the purpose of the product. I can't recommend this cable as your only mic input. Get a USB mic if you want something that'll be more reliable.

Works great few months in with no issues and great sound quality

Much Higher quality construction compared to my Moondrop Chu II stock cable, it does also have a mic which comes in handy when I receive a call while jamming on my Samsung S25 Ultra phone. It substantially changed sound quality and specially volume on my Chu II IEM, reason for this is different cables also have different impedances, which can cause some differences with frequency responses. This is not placebo. After installing MC2, I had to change all the way my EQ settings because I noticed it was too bassy and didn't have enough treble, also brass, strings and percussion instruments sounded different. I had also to reduce volume by 40% because MC2 cable does sounds much louder using exactly same EQ values and settings, same DAC/AMP(Moondrop Dawn Pro 2) and same Samsung S25 Ultra smartphone. It does have colored labeled cables(RED for Right and BLACK for Left). Chu II uses recessed 2-pin sockets, so orientation matters, to install MC2 correctly: - Look at the 2-pin plug on the MC2 cable - One side is flat, the other slightly rounded - The flat side must face the IEM shell - The pins should go straight in, never at an angle. Important: Do not force it, if it doesn’t slide in easily, the orientation(polarity) is wrong. Picture shown with Moondrop Chu II and Moondrop MC2 cable using 3rd party large silicone tips.

Cable is good and robust. Does not tangle and mic audio is good. Only thing that is missing is a bit more lenght on the cable, but for PS controller is perfect.

Es muy difícil encontrar cables con Micrófono para inear, estos no están tan bonitos como otros qué no traen micrófono, pero el diseño no esta tan mal.
