Hold up the TV well and so far no issues because I needed a portrait mount for a movie poster display. Does the job!

I recently installed the Mount-It! Portrait TV Wall Mount for a 40" display, and overall, I’m impressed. The low-profile design looks clean and professional, and it holds the TV securely in a vertical orientation, which is exactly what I needed for digital signage. Installation was fairly straightforward, but I’d recommend having a second person to help—lining up the mount and the TV can be tricky if you’re doing it alone. The hardware included was decent, and the instructions were clear enough, though I wish they had a bit more detail for different wall types. Once mounted, the TV feels stable and doesn’t wobble, which gives me confidence in its durability. The slim profile keeps the setup looking sleek without sticking out too much from the wall. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there’s very little room for adjustment after installation. If you need to tweak the angle or position slightly, you’ll likely have to remount it. Other than that, it’s a great solution for portrait mounting at a reasonable price.

I'm a photographer and I've always wanted to display my work on large displays. But portrait or longitudinal oriented images don't display ideally on a TV monitor in landscape mode. Image is shrunk to fit. With black sides of wasted pixels. I was looking for the ability to safely mount a TV/LCD panel vertically. I found it in the iMount Portrait Wall Mount. It resembles a standard landscape mode wall mount in that it has the wall plate, except it's narrower. But still spans to reach wall studs. The VESA attachment arms are longer instead of those on landscape style mounts. It is able to correctly reach the 600x400, 400x400 or 400x200 bolt holes. The vertical TV is attached similarly. And there are 2 quick release pull tabs for easy removable. What is different is the included padlock loops for anti-theft. If used for public displays. This is a necessity. I definitely like the quality and function of this Mount-It! product. It takes the guess work and uncertainty out of having to custom hang a TV monitor length wise. Great product!

This mount worked perfectly for a 50" TV that I wanted to mount vertically for a business information display application. I have wall mounted many other displays before, so this unit was very similar and easy to work with. Everything necessary to complete the installation was included, and I also like the security feature to ensure it is safely mounted which also really limits the likelihood of it being stolen. The ability to tilt the display is a plus too. Overall, I am very happy with this mount, so I highly recommend it with five stars!

This is a fully functional, industrial strength mount. Just make sure you know that it's for VERTICAL ORIENTATION! We use it to hold a menu board in the store and folks seem to like reading a shape like their cell phone, rather than a wide screen, move your eyes back and forth experience. It's strongly built and does the job as expected.

Using for a 60" LG TV and it works as advertised If you've installed TV mounts in the past, this one will be a breeze for you Drill the frame to the wall making sure to look for the studs and the vertical mounts click into the frame IF you don't find studs, the kit comes with plastic inserts but I have never used these so I can't really say how good they are but at least the kit comes with it

This holds my tv upright and has the heft to keep it all in place. I dig it.
