Chewable Eye Vitamin and Mineral Supplement
The tablet is very tasty and easy to chew. I started using them only a few days ago, so I cannot give a review as to how they are affecting my eyes as yet. However, this supplement was suggested by my eye surgeon and s also sold in his office I am pleased that this supplement is in the chewable form. I am posting five stars because I am confident that this supplement will be of help to me, and to others.

Chewable and vegan friendly. No gelatin like the capsuals have.
Tastes ok but the formula is very good for your eye health. No animal by products so it is great for vegetarians and vegans. The capsule contain Bovine gelatin like most store bought vitamins. This a a great product and costs the same as the capsule kind. I recommend this product if you are looking for an animal free product that is an excellent vitamin for your eyes.

She doesn't like the grittiness.
I ordered these for a client with macular degeneration who always chokes on the non-chewable pills. She says these taste good, but she doesn't like how these go to pieces when she bites them, becoming gritty and getting stuck in her teeth. That wouldn't be a big thing to me, but she hates it enough that she won't order them again, and she wanted to rate them 3 stars. I guess I'll be shopping for gummies next...

Hate the Taste
My normal brand of chewable AREDS was not available so I ordered these. I will continue using them because I need them, but the smell puts off the taste for me. They smell like my B Complex vitamins that are not chewable - which is odd since there is no B in these. I shudder with every one of these which makes it harder to remember to take them. My former brand was so yummy I literally looked forward to each dosage. But I am working on getting these down…until I can reorder my preferred ones. Kind of bummed, since these were cheaper. What IS that smell? And why is no one else mentioning it? Call me confused.
