Sturdy for multiple large cats, small space, 2 min assembly w/o tools!
Buy It!!! I have 7 cats⌠yes 7âŚ.and a husband who claims to hate cats â cat trees and holes in the wall even more so. However, my cats are indoor and donât get a lot of opportunity for exercise. I also keep getting body shamed by proxy by the vet for my catsâ extra love weight. So I spent a lot of time researching a cat tree that was tall enough to give the cats exercise, but which left a small footprint and didnât require anchoring to the wall in order to satisfy the husband. I wanted ALL of the tree to be useable vs just looking cute or exciting, but not being sturdy enough to hold my catsâ weight. Each of my cats weigh 15-20 pounds, except for the grey kitten. I didnât want to shell out $100+ for cheap material, which most of the super tall cat towers are made of. I also looked at the design from a catâs perspective⌠would they be able to access the different areas, climb, etc. We had a non carpeted wood cat tree fall and break the leg of the cat on top. Six casts because my loser cat kept taking it off every dayâŚ.did not want a repeat of that. So, I wanted to place the tower in a corner and have the âbranchesâ fit within that small space while still maintaining stability. Iâm also pretty bad a with tools, so I hoped for good instructions â I mean, I would have to put this together on my own when the hubby was sleeping, so that I didnât have to ask for help or hear him protest. Assembly literally took me 2 minutes without any toolsâŚitâs just spinning a couple pieces attached to pre-installed screws. Remember, for the direction in which you should spin it, ârighty tighty, lefty loosey,â â thatâs the only tip or tool youâll need! Came in one large (but light enough for me to push around the house) box with clear instructions (that I didnât need to use). There are a few other similar trees that are real carpeted wood that look like they would also be great purchases, but I am very happy with this one and pleasantly surprised!

The best decision Iâve ever made!!!
The media could not be loaded. Oh my gosh! This is the best cat tree I have ever seen! It weighs about 55lbs and I stand at 5â5â and the tree is a tad bit taller than I am (see the video for comparison). It was insanely easy to assemble that I didnât even read the directions! It is a heavy tree and the parts are all solid wood! SOLID! This tree doesnât shake or wiggle at all when the cats are jumping around like monkeys in it. All three of my cats weight 10-13lbs each so you do the math! The bed perches are deep and make for perfect cat naps! My cats went nuts over this tree when I took it out of the box. You know that really awesome feeling you get when you jump into your bed after all the linens are done and your bed feels like a million bucks?! Thatâs how my cats reacted to this tree! They all love it! I want to buy another one of a different style but by this same company because they know exactly how to make excellent quality and safe cat trees. We can never have too many cat trees, right?! The carpeting all over the tree is secured so well and the nails are all covered up so theyâre not exposed. In the video you can watch me literally unbox it and assemble it within a view minutes. It was THAT EASY. This is the best $134 Iâve spent on cat furniture so far, so if youâre concerned about the price- Iâm telling you, itâs worth it. I was one of those folks that tried to go the cheap route before and bought one of those $40 4ft tall cat trees on eBay. That cheap tree was made of CARDBOARD and COMPRESSED WOOD and it broke before I could even blink! Iâm begging you for the safety of your kitties, please do not go the cheap route and please do not buy compressed wood cat trees. I cannot tell you how many times my cats fell out of the tree because it started to lean and it was wobbly. If you donât want your cats injured and you want to make sure all your kitties feel safe, spend the extra money on a New Cat Condos tree. Take my advice!! Youâll thank me later!

Fantastic-sturdy-EZ assembly
I had this on my wishlist for a long time and finally bought it and it's even better than it looks online. Very sturdy, roomy levels, only 2 pieces to assemble. Cats love it.

SO close to getting five stars overall
My cat LOVES the tree. She had a 3-level before that she scratched to pieces over the course of 3 years, scratching off almost all the carpet on the poles and in the beds of the tree.Pros:1. The tree was easy to put together, and my cat started scratching it while I was assembling it. I would DEFINITELY use a power drill to drill in the "optional" 2 long screws that secure the third perch to the long pole. You can't get the screw all the way in (at least I couldn't), but using the screws really stabilizes the tree.2. This tree is really sturdy. My cat weighs over 9 pounds, and she leaps on the long pole of the tree at a dead run, and claws her way into the 4th perch. The tree doesn't wobble.3. She loves the deep perches. She hunkers down when she wants to sleep, and she hangs over the sides when she wants to observe the world. It's easy for her to climb the tree. She gets to stretch to her full length to scratch the long carpeted pole. She spends a tremendous portion of her time in this tree.4. The tree is very nice looking, and has a small "footprint."5. The box it came it was still in good shape when the tree was delivered. There was no damage at all.Cons: The quality of the carpet. My cat's last tree had carpet that was one grade up from this, and resisted shedding from all her scratching. The carpeting on this tree is already starting to shred after a vigorous clawing. I don't think the tree will stay looking good for long, not the way the old tree did for over 2 years before it started looking really shabby (I replaced the old tree after 3 years). I may have to replace this tree in a year or so (I'll probably move it to the back room for my other cat to use -- my other cat prefers to scratch a cardboard scratching box, and doesn't scratch trees).I would have given the tree 5 stars if the carpeting was just a little bit better. However, the cat is very happy, which makes me happy. And for the price, the tree is a good value, and is very sturdy.
